Hi Jen, hope you are feeling better. It seems like we have had similar hcg numbers, at 8dpt mine was 40 and at 11dpt it was 167. Our timelines are sooo close. I went in for another beta this morning so waiting to hear back about the third set of numbers. My first u/s is next Thurs. Rest and relax, feel better!!

Jen - I had hyperstimulation once. Not nearly as bad as what you have, but I remember having pain from it. Mine is from PCOS.

Ann - We are so close! Whats your EDD? I am still nervous to think that far ahead, but mine would be in the mid-November timeframe.

So I didn't feel like crap when I woke up this morning! I actually slept laying down & got some good sleep! It must have been the fluid that had been bothering me. Now, I didn't feel good after I ate, but it wasn't horrible.
I did get a little freaked out b/c I spotted a little when I went to the bathroom. I know its kind of common, but still. & then I started cramping which scared me even more, but its probably just from the procedure yesterday & the tylenol wore off. I am trying to stay rational.

To top off our crazy week, DH got layed off this AM. His industry involves the housing market & they are making cutbacks. We were totally shocked. I feel so bad for him. I hope we can figure things out.

Jen- I hope everything works out with your dh's job situation.
It seems like when you need the money the most, this stuff happens.

When my girls were born and my dh's job found out that one of them had heart problems, they "let him go" b/c they didn't want to have to pay for her insurance.

Mere - I think my OHSS is from PCOS too.

Sarah - They don't know how long it will take to go away - could be next week, could be end of 1st trimester. I am feeling better, but scared to death that horrible distended feeling will come back.

Chrystie - we were both so shocked. DH is one of the top sales people, but he was in an overlay/specialist role - usually the first to go. We are lucky that our insurance is with my work. That must have been so hard for you all.

Ann - Sounds like I am 2 days behind you. I hope beta #3 was off the charts!

I've been crampy off & on all day/night, but I am trying not to freak out. My body is freaking out in a bunch of different ways right now, so its probably expected.
I woke up & couldn't get back to sleep. DH is doing the SXSW thing & not hope yet. He had such a rough day, so I am glad he is having fun.
My parents came in to help take care of me & I have to say I have the best parents in the world! They cooked a great dinner & my mom & I hung out & watched shows. They are the best!

I am going to get up early for my 3rd beta tomorrow. If all looks good, we are going to tell the parents ( I was so excited after the positive HPT, I already told my mom- but DH doesn't know.) Then I will update my sig with a ticker.

Finally got the call - 277! Looks like things are ok.

I also got to see aq hemotologist today b/c my blood is thick. So now I get to go on blood thinners. & My thyroid level is high, so they put me on meds for that yesterday. Who knew there would be this much stuff??

I am feeling better, but I am still laying in bed. Getting boring.....

They want me to come back in on Monday for a check-up on my OHSS. They said they will do another beta then. They scheduled an u/s for a week from Wed. I think that will be the big day when I find out if there is morethan one little guy in there?!

Jen-Glad things are progressing nicely and you're feeling better now. Sorry about DH's job. Hopefully things will work themselves out soon......god only knows you don't need any added stress! Can't wait to find out how many are in there!
