OK girls here they are. this will probably be a multiple post picture show....
Here are my babies having their first ride in the back of the truck going to the dog sitter's house.  Our cabin  A nice sunset from the dock in front of our cabin  Some rough water. We had a few days of sporadic rain and high winds. One day, there wered 3 ft rollers coming across the lake. It was so bad that dh had to put a 200 lb rock in the boat to hold the front down!!  a view of the inlet where I caught some little bass  the trail from the inlet back to the cabin

Sunrise in Whitefish Bay. This is about 10 miles north of the island where we stayed.
 The portage into the bush that took us to Foster Lake. If you look in the middle of the picture, you can see a small hole in the bush. That's where we entered the very overgrown trail. There was a lot of bear $h*! on that trail, but fortunately, no bears!!  Morning steam coming off of the lake in Whitefish Bay  The portage trail coming out of Foster Lake  The Daddy Bass I caught. The first one we lost because my line got caught on the side of the canoe (that was pretty beat up since a tree had fallen on it and a bear got to the one end of it)  Dh's little Rock Bass - LOL  Here's my Grandaddy Bass. He was beautiful!!  Dh paddling me around the lake

OK just a few more....
My little spread for cocktail hour (we had cocktails every evening just before dinner)  The Beaver coming in for a landing bringing the Dinsmore's to the island  Getting some sun!!  Me and dh (sorry it's sideways)  Another sunset  DH taking me to the dock on our last day. See how sad he looks??

Rebecca - great pictures! You and DH are such a goodlooking couple - I wish I looked that good in a bathing suit! I love your fish vs DH's LOL! And what a great idea having cocktails ready for every evening!

RAC - The pics are great, I have goose bumps, it's beautiful out there. And I agree you and DH are pretty darn cute. And LOL about the fish, that's is great. Poor DH, that does look like his lure.

Thanks girls. We did have a great time. The pictures honestly don't do it justice, though. That lake is truly spectacular! Only one more year till I get to go back.
Irene and Melissa - that's the wonderful thing about depth perception - I wouldn't look that good standing or laying in the other direction!! but thanks!
