Hi girls! We are finally getting somewhere on the basement, so I thought i'd post a pic of what we have so far and my new couch! I love it!

Deanna ~ That is so cool!!! I always wanted to live in a house with a basement and usable attic. I would put my gym in the basement and my scrapbook room in the attic - it is perfect in my dreams

Can I come over? Nobody has basements here, and if they do....they smell like mildew with all our moisture.

Thanks girls! I absolutely love my couch! Its a microfiber too and its pretty comfy. DH is a huge Buckeye's fan so of course that has to be the theme in the basement! I told him I wanted it all done before we have a baby. Oh and my deck...thats this spring. So the basement will be on hold

Okay, have a few pics.
We went down to the River yesterday and took a walk. I can't believe I've lived here almost four years and never knew about this park. It's so pretty (probably even prettier when there are leaves on the trees!)     Someone had painted this on the rock. I know it's graffiti, but it looked cool!  And these are two pictures from my last trip to Mexico. The first is the view from our hotel room. You can see how, um, industrial Monterrey is. Not exactly a paradise!  And this one is of a fire that was on the side of the road. It was spreading really fast, and right in the middle of the city. No firetrucks came! There were huge trucks carrying flamable liquid driving right by this thing. I was totally freaked out.  Okay not sure why some pictures are showing up big and others the right size?

Emily~The pics by the river look so pretty. I absolutely love to be by water!! I'm only 40 min or so from lake erie at least!
Here are 3 pics from Florida. They aren't anything exciting. I didn't take many. I have an awesome pic of a palm tree on my phone that i'll have to post too. A few pics from our trip to Baltimore.
View from the water taxi. We stopped and had lunch at one of the outdoor restaurants. Juan hates boats, so him getting on the water taxi in the first place was a huge sacrifice!  Some pictures from the aquarium. It was really cool!
