Default Improving Uterine Lining

Hello Ladies,

I wasn't sure where to post this... I'm sorry if it has been discussed before.

Does anyone know how to improve uterine lining? When I was with the RE, they gave me Estradiol pills to place near my cervix about a week before O, but because I'm not being monitored I don't really want to do that.

I've read that taking baby aspirin helps... any other suggestions? I do exercise 3 times a week, and I'm a pretty healthy eater.

I don't know if my lining is a problem... I just remember that my RE said clomid can harm the growth of lining. I am currently working with a regular gyn.

Thanks in advance!

Mare - I had read that red raspberry leaf tea can help the lining. Supposedly baby aspirin can help by thinning the blood, too. I'm not sure if all RE's still go with the aspirin theory anymore, though. My lining last cycle while on clomid was 12mm, which is more than sufficient.

I have been on baby asprin (81mg) for the past 2 years. My RE recommends it for all of my ivf cycles also.

Thanks for your help Rebecca and Lauren. I went out and bought some tea as well as low dose aspirin.

I looked at my Clomid cycle with the RE, and at cycle day 12 my lining was 2.8 to 5mm, then with the pills it went to 8.1+ on cycle day 14. Trigger shot was on day 17 (I don't know what my lining was by then). That was a successful cycle. I don't know if the pills helped or it just progressed on its own. I would hate for my lining to be preventing implantation, so anything I can do to 'help' I will do. I appreciate the information

The hormone progesterone is what thickens the lining and helps with implantation, so prescribed progesterone or natural progesterone cream could possibly help.

I did the baby asprin on my own when I was taking clomid. I wasn't being monitored so I was worried that taking it for a couple months in a row would start to effect it. I never had any problems with my lining when they checked while not on clomid. I don't think the baby asprin can hurt. Good luck.
