Jen - I think of you and your babies all the time and this is the first place I check when I log in. I am sure Winston misses you but I am sure he is enjoying his vacation. I think that Abigail is a beautiful name and she is such a fighter. I like both boy names but my favorite is Andrew. I can't even start to imagine the heartache you and your DH is going through. I am so sorry that you haven't heard more encouraging updates about Abigail. I am keeping you and your family in my thought and prayers.

Jen-I, too, am praying for you and your little ones. Tears came to my eyes as I read your story and of the strength of little Abigail to keep pushing on for her dear brother. Biggest (((hugs)))

Jen when getting up this morning I thought of you and your babies, asking God to bring you all three through this healthy. Love the name Andrew, you could call him Andy or Drew. I know you miss Winston, it is a shame they can't sneak him in, but it would take a HUGE bag to hide him in. My DH prayed for you all last night, so touching. He asked God to bless you and your DH with these two healthy babies. Hang in there you have some wonderful prayers being sent up for all of you.

Jen, I am so sorry to hear about Abigail. What a fighter she is to help her baby brother grow strong and healthy. I love the name Andrew! Keep staying positive and looking at the long term goal, 6 weeks, 42 days for healthy babies. Each day gives them a better chance. Does your NICU have ECMO? You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I pray that Abigail hangs in there!

My heart sunk reading your posts and I feel so much for you & the babies.

I have been thinking of you and will continue to. Sounds like Abigail is a fighter. They always say girl babies are stronger so I hope she pulls through this.

jen - i just found out about this thread...so many emotions for you while reading all these pages. so happy to find you pregnant...so sad to know that you are going thru this. you and your babies and your dh are in my thoughts. Hello Everyone...and Happy Easter!

Today is 2 weeks! I am looking forward to gettig through this next week- Wednesday will be 23 weeks. Once we hit 24 weeks they will start giving me "steriod" injections to help the babies lungs to devleop quicker. The NICU also has success with babies born at 24 weeks - although their greatest success rates are for babies born 28 weeks and later. So, we plug along and PRAY we will make it to 4/30! My doctor made me feel great today - he came in and said he wants me to be the new record setter. The record for a mother with ruptured membranes in this hospital is 72 days but, for his practice is 68 days...So he wants me to hold out for 69 days. I hope I can...with everyone's prayers - hopefully it will be a piece of cake !

Everything is starting to take a toll on DH - i can see the stress in his face! He is not a "relaxed" person to begin with and his job isn't exactly "calm". It is so true that woman/girls are so much stronger! After 2 weeks I think he is going to burn out. All I have to say is thank God for my mom! She has been incredible. She comes, brings me dinner and sits with me every night. We said no to visitors...mostly because I don't feel like entertaining when they are here - besides the fact that I couldn't get through a day with sobbing...now it is more because I don't want to be exposed to any illness! It is so important for us to be healthy!

My stomach is getting huge and it is getting more and more uncomfortable to lay here and try to sleep! I am so happy - because I know they are growing!

DH ad I and both our angels just want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I tear up when I read your posts!

I hope you all have a very HAPPY EASTER!!!!

Jen ~ You are doing AMAZING. Would it help a little to set up a goal ticker or have one of the girls make you a special blinkie or something like that? So you can see those days tick away, and know that every single one counts! Or like a 'we've made it (27) days so far!' ticker? I dunno. Thinking of little things to help keep you going. You're doing great. You're doing everything possible. And you have the support and prayers from EVERYONE here behind you and those strong babies! Poor DH. I wish I knew him so I could give a suggestion for something to help him get a little relief from the stress and worry. Maybe nudge him to go for a boys night and have a few beers? I don't have a clue what's relaxing to him...flying blind here.
