I check in on the website every morning as part of my little routine. He sounds like he's doing so great. I'm blown away constantly. It's just amazing!

The updates on his weight every few days...this boy is closing in on 6 pounds now! He's putting on weight like crazy! I'm FLOORED!
 Can't wait to hear that he's on his way home, Jen!

Hi all!
Thanks for checking on us so often! Andrew is doing great. He is gaining on average aboutg 2 ozs a night. His last weigh in was 5lbs 12.6 ozs. He just looks like a different baby now. He is doing much better with his feedings. Still a little lazy - which is why he is packingon the weight...he is really not expending much energy! He has nippled on average about 3 bottles a day. Sometimes more and some days not full bottles. He just falls asleep while eating. They have put him on a special bottle to control the flow he gets and doesn't get overwhelmed. We are hoping he'll be home within the next 2 weeks. He has to take every feeding from a bottle for 2 days! DH and I had prayer cards made up for Abigail. After the service we placed one in Andrew's isolette/crib. The other day I noticed that he always has his head turned to that side of the crib. I thought for a second and then said - well, it is probably just more comfy that way. Then, I noticed that he is always "touching" the card and swatting at it. I made a comment to my mom who was visiting with me the other night. One of the nurses overheard me and said - whenever he is up he is "playing" with the card and swatting and touching it. I seriously had goosebumps - and just started crying. I think his sister is talking to him...I was able to get a picture of him last night... He is such a cutie. I attached a few updated pictures. DH and I cannot find our charges amongst the chaos...yes our house, actually our office is still not put back together! UGH! These pictures were taken with my cell phone. 1 Thanks again - and I'll try to keep you updated

Jen - what a sweet boy!!! He sounds so wonderful! I know little Abigail is there keeping him company when you guys have to be away. What an Angel!!! Thanks for the pics he is just gorgeous!

Jen - He is such a precious, handsome boy! I have no doubt that he KNOWS Abigail is with him. I think that it is so sweet that he turns to his prayer card. I think it brings him comfort. Thanks for updating us about Andrew.

That is great news about Andrew! I got goosebumps when I read about him playing with the card. My therapist told me not to be surprised if someday my future children are staring at "nothing" or come and tell me about a "little boy" in their room. She believes in visits and so do I.
