Jen ~ Bec has been keeping me updated while I was away from the computer for the weekend. Little bit of a phone tree -- Lou sends her love and prayers and says she'll be thinking of you.

I am having trouble typing, because I don't know what I want to say. I cried yesterday, aching for you, not even able to imagine your emotions. I'm so proud of you and elated that Andrew is doing well. I'm so proud of Abigail that she gave her family everything she had to give...her brother all that time to get strong, and you two a little time to love her in your arms (that was the first question I asked Rebecca when the news came, was did they get to hold her -- I'm so greatful for you that you did, the doctors and staff sound amazing). I never met her, but in my heart I feel like Abigail is one of the strongest, most giving people I've ever known. Even now I sit in tears, so incredibly sad for you and Dave and Andrew, and so joyous that Andrew has had the best start he could and is looking well.

From the very bottom of my heart and soul, honey, I'm so, so, sorry for the loss of your little girl.

And I look forward to seeing you and hearing stories about Andrew whenever you are up to it. He is a miracle too. They both are.
