Default Felling hopeful but helpless

Hi...

I am new to this forum but so glad to have found it. Please forgive me if I'm not up on the abbreviations yet.

I have been undergoing infertility treatments and am on my third cycle of Clomid. This round, the doctor opted for artificial insemination (2 times). He informed me that I probably ovualted just before the second one, which made me hopeful, but then I read some statistics that said the chances were something like 6% for one egg. Is it hopeless? And if we did manage to conceive, am I paranoid to think that I might be doing something unwittingly that will somehow cause it not to implant (like twisting the wrong way in yoga class)?

Please help. Thanks.

Hi caligirl, Welcome to the forum. I am on my first round of Clomid, we have been trying to concieve for a year.

I dont think that you can/cannot do anything that will change your outcome. Just hang in there and we are here for you bcause sometimes just venting cna make all the differance in the world.

Thanks so much. It does make me feel better to vent a bit, especially to people who (unfortunately) can relate. Good luck with the Clomid cycle. Don't be frustrated if you have to add IUI ultimately. Unromantic but supposedly more effective since the drug makes your mucous so thick.

Take care & keep me posted.
