Deanna - Yep, crazy isn't it?? I can't believe how quickly the months pass, especially since I started school.

Tammi - Thanks! I actually made an appointment at this new midwife office and got my new patient information in the mail from the RE's office.

School is good - well, except for anatomy/physiology II. That just downright sucks. We're working on the nervous system and the physiology part of it is the worst. I'm okay wiht the anatomy part. I finished Hydrotherapy last night and next week we start Chair Massage, then on to Reiki II - Distance Healing.

For my Swedish Massage class, I have to massage two massage therapists. Tonight is my first and I'm nervous!!!

Mari - I wish your doctor would have some type of answer for you. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I knew that my parts just didn't work at all.

Heidi - You'll do fine with the showers. I know that it will be hard, but you're a strong woman (you have to be to have gone through all that you have) and I know that you'll handle it in the best way you can.

Betsy - That would be an interesting study. Kinda makes me wonder.

Emily - Yay to TTC in Mexico!!

Here's to being positive & lots of success!

Steph - I'm totally with you on Peyton & Amber/Ashley (I forgot her name). Destiny, the nasty dark-haired girl is weird! She talks like a valley-girl sometimes! Like what are those girls thinking, oh my god whatever! (In my best valley-girl imitation!) I still can't wait to see what it's like when Heather makes an appearance! I don't think that's for a while though.

Heidi - Yeah by the second non-shower day, I was really feeling gross! As soon as I showered, I ripped the sheets & pillowcases off the bed! DH was like great more laundry! When did your tape finally come off? The nurse said it will fall off on it's own, not to take it off. Only 1 incision out of the 3, is the tape starting to loosen a little.
That sucks about your co-worker. It's so hard for us to deal with that. But you had the lap done, you're moving forward and getting closer to your dream!

Betsy - DH is okay. I think since the RE talked with him after the surgery, was positive & had a plan, that helped. We just keep saying thankfully we went ahead with the RE. At first, after we got the referral, we said let's go, see what he has to say & go from there. I can't even imagine if we said "We are going to wait & try on our own for another year." DH was so different after meeting with the RE. He was so much more on board & positive. I think he is relieved a little that they finally found something. My DH does not get the "Unexplained Infertility" at all. When all the other tests were coming back "normal", he would go back to the idea that they some how screwed up his s/a results or had switched the results with someone else. Even after I went over the s/a results with the RE, and the RE told me that he has "super sperm", my DH still didn't believe it. So now we can finally put that to rest! As much as people might normally look at this as a bad thing, it's a positive thing for us!

Lauren - Good luck today!

Deanna - The Lap itself wasn't bad. I never had been put out either. Hell, I haven't been in a hospital for an injury since I was in 3rd grade! Seriously once you are in the room, they hold a mask over your face, 5 seconds....Good night! I think my recovery was more intense/painful than normal because they were moving organs around in there (ew!). Has your doctor mentioned it lately?

Rebecca - You will do fine tonight!

Emily - Hi!

Melissa - Hi!

Rebecca-Thank you. However I think you and some of the other women are much stronger than me. With all of your help its what makes me be able to deal with this crap!

Karyn-I didn't have any incisions. I didn't do the full lap. I did the hysterscopy, which is done in conjuction with the the lap or by itself. Which means for me they only went in through the vagina. Which is why the recovery on mine was a bit shorter. I did the same thing with the sheets too!!! Very funny. You going to be feeling up for the Superbowl? I know you like football and hanging out. We are staying home and getting lots of munchies and being pigs!

Deanna-As I mentioned above my surgery was a little different than Karyn's but similar to the lap as well. Its a tough call because I was totally against ANY surgery. Told the RE no to a lap in July but once he did the saline u/s and could pinpoint something in there I felt a little better about going under. I wasn't a fan of just doing it to see what's going on in there. But I know just like Karyn posted before that lots of women have endo with no major signs, which is why the lap is great. I don't know with my surgery if he would be able to detect through the scope they use in the vagina if there was any endo. I'll be able to find out more on the 14th when I have my post-op appt with the RE. Hnag in there. As your friend said before it takes a little patience.....you are now moving forward. However, for me and probably all of us here at times I feel like that movement is at a snails pace. And that's because certain things can only be done during certain times of your cycle. UGH. It's a never ending game of frustration.

Betsy-Love the quote from the quote from the mtg. And thanks for the support. I know this was a rough one for you too with everything and the timing. It always means a lot to me to know you're out there!

Lauren-Hope you had a better appt. today.

So I don't know if I had a case of stomach flu or it was the potluck lunch yesterday. I was fine until about 9pm last night. I got sick twice and once again earlier today. Now after some soup and more sleep I starting to feel ok.

I also don't know if its jsut everything else going on as well. This is usual O time for me, which I don't have any signs of and may be my body is just having a hard time after the surgery. Which I don't really care about the whole O thing this month. I just don't want it to screw up my body and my cycle so I can't move on. I will be so pissed if AF doesn't come when she's supposed to and pushes everything back as far as waiting to move onto next cycle. UGH.

Heidi - I knew you were having the hysteroscopy but for some reason I thought they went throught the hoo-ha & making an incision too! Which really makes no sense now that I think about it! LOL@the sheets! The entire time I was in the shower I kept thinking, I cannot wait to get those sheets off! DH was like stop let me help you before you hurt yourself! Now that I was clean & showered, I couldn't stand the thought of those sheets on the bed one more minute!
Heck ya I am ready for Sunday! Nothing that a few drinks won't fix! Only 2 couples are coming over. DH said if I wasn't up for it, he would tell them no. Why? All we are doing is sitting, eating & drinking! I'm so ready for munchie food! I will be "grazing" all day!

Karyn-I love football, munchies and drinks. Glad you will be getting your drink on! Nothing worse than finally getting yourself clean and then back into a dirty bed. Yuck. It was weird because I thought my hoo-ha was going to hurt but the pain I felt was a pulling/cramps in the lower ab where they probably took out the polyp and scraped around.

Sorry about the double post. Computer was acting up and I didn't think it posted at all.

Heidi - Since I have been couch bound for 5 days, all the food network shows are doing football food! As I sit drooling! My one girlfriend that's coming makes this dip with ground beef, sausage, velveeta, rotel & cream of mushroom soup. It's so good! She is not allowed in our house unless she makes it! She will make 2 crockpot's of it and always leaves me some for the next day! I'm still bloated & with my incisions, I don't think I would be comfy in jeans. Oh darn, I get to eat & drink in pj bottoms!
I hope your stomach bug is gone by Sunday!

Karyn- heehee, I love lounging in my pjs. Matter of fact, I'm still in mine! There's just something about your pjs that is so relaxing. I'm glad to hear that you are starting to feel better.

I still think about you guys all of the time. I still can't believe that I'm pregnant. I pray for you and all the ttc-ers all the time. The one positive I can think about having to struggle is that it makes the payoff that much sweeter-however we get to it.

Heidi~I was thinking you had the lap done. I'm sorry! I'm not sure what the saline u/s is and i've heard of the hysteroscopy but don't know what that is either. I'll have to look those up. My dr hasn't mentioned it to me at all....well my new one hasn't. My old one did I think mainly b/c they couldn't figure out my spotting issue. I'm still keeping my fingers cross that my temp stays up and my spotting stays away!!

Hope everyone had a good Friday!! I'm off to work again...sucks butt!

Great News - I'll wear pink on Sunday too.

Betsy - I had strep throat this week and somehow missed wearing white for you. I'm sorry - but you will be in my prayers.
