Steph, bleeding with IVF is VERY common, more so with multiples. Praying for a sticky bean. You can test daily (same brand) to see the line get darker if you can't wait until Wednesday for your beta (((Hugs)))

Thanks so much girls! I am feeling much better about it. It only lasted for about 2 hours, and it was very very very light. I never got any intense cramping or clots or anything of that nature, so I think for now things are OK. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers, it really means a lot to me to have all you girls! You are all AWESOME!!

I took 2 more tests this morning and still BFPs, including the digital, and I think the line on the other one may have been darker, but it was hard to tell, the hormone levels only double about every 2 days so day to day may be difficult to notice the change. I still haven't had anymore bleeding, and no cramping. If today goes by with nothing I will be feeling much better.
Kedney- I had also read in several places that with twins there is sometimes more bleeding early on. I had never known that with IVF bleeding early on is more common either, so that made me feel a bit better.

Steph-so glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped. Still thinking and praying for you!!
AFM...Temp down again, and when I wiped it was light brown (sorry TMI) so depending on what happens today I'm sure in will be CD1 for me. My LP sure was a heck of a lot longer then ever this time though. Is that from the clomid even though I'm not on it this month? I think my chart shows a clear shift and I'm sure I felt O pains that day, so I'm unsure if I want up my dose to 100 mg of clomid. I had to cancel my doctors appointment today and they just said to call when I knew when CD3 was so I could have that bloodwork. Heading to Traverse City this weekend...so looks like I can have wine and lots of it! Oh, and I called into work today, because well, I'm just sad and want to be by myself. Lots of food left over from our Super Bowl Party...so I'm totally going to eat it up. |

Stephanie - Glad to hear the bleeding stopped and was minimal to begin with. I can't wait to hear your numbers on Wednesday! What time is your appt.?
Cassie - Congrats! I didn't know that's where you lived! Erin - Good for you taking the day off, somtimes you just need that. That's the one thing I miss from having superbowl parties...the yummy leftovers! |

Stephanie - I'm so sorry I didn't get on here yesterday! With all of the snow, things have been crazy. YAYAYAYAYAY!!! for the bfp!! I think it's very promising that you're getting the positive on the digital so soon and yes, implantation isn't complete until abotu 6 weeks. I'm glad the spots stopped and I'm SO anxious for your beta Wednesday!
Erin - It sucked. I never found my car till about 1:00 Saturday afternoon. I'll have to post some pics in my album later. It was nuts. Enjoy your day home today ![]() Cassie - I'm happy for the Saints. This is their only Superbowl. Good for them!! |

Erin- Good for you for taking the day off, we all need a mental health day now and then! I hope you are feeling better!!
Cassie- Yea for the Saints, we were definately routing for them last night, it was a good game! Although I will admit I didn't stay up for the whole thing Karyn- I don't have an appointment. The way my clinic runs it is that everyday between 6:30-7:45am they do all the routine bloodwork and ultrasounds, so I just need to show up sometime between those hours on Wednesday morning. I should get the results between 2-3, but I will of course be testing in the morning anyway so I will what is going on, I'll just be hoping for some nice high numbers! I figure I was at least around 25 yesterday to pick up on some of the tests, so tomorrow it should be at least 50 and on Wednesday at least 75. So I'm hoping for 75 or higher, I guess we will see! bb30 and Rac- Thanks for the congrats! It feels pretty surreal! I think I am going to stop on my way home and pick up a bunch more of the dollar tests. I was never addicted to POAS before, but I am now!! I did 4 yesterday and 2 today

Cassie - Who Dat!!! I was so excited for the Saints winning!!! I'm a die hard Bears fan & the Colts beat them so I just had to go for the Saints. Great game. 4th Quarter won us $250!!! Go Saints!
Steph - YAH!! Awesome! I'm so excited for you. I'd be POAS constantly too. Great start to February and the year.

The bitch is in full force, so doctors appointment Wednesday morning for my CD3 bloodwork. I've cried all damn day. I don't wanna cry anymore. I don't want to feel this way anymore each month. DH is so wonderful and reminds me it's just not our time yet and holds me and lets me cry. When will it be our time?
I felt like I had a good looking chart this month. What is everyone's thoughts on this whole baby asprin thing? Do I try this? |
|
||||
|
Erin - Urgh, sorry. And that's really sweet of DH just letting you cry. I know my situation is different, but DH really has a hard time when all I want to do is cry. At this point, I'm willing to try anything. Vitamins, baby asprin, limit my beer, working out. If I've read a story about it online, and it worked, I'm willing to try it. And as hard as it is to hear and try to understand right now, when it's your time, it will happen. And if not you'll try everything in your power to make it happen.
I truly think the hardest part is not getting our hopes up. After 3 years of this, you'd think I'd not even consider that I might be pregnant. But oh no, during the tww I can overanalyze everything, get my gosh darn hopes up that it might of actually happened. And when AF comes be upset that I'm not. I wonder sometimes, if we just stopped doing everything and didn't consider anymore treatments, even give up hope, if this would go away? I seriously doubt it. We're all here for you if you need us. Hang in there.

Erin ~ I did the fertility recipe and I'm sure there is a link to it somewhere....
In the a.m. - PNV - B6 - EPO (only until O) - Guaiffesin (sp?) found in Robitussin (only until O) In the p.m. - B complex - EPO (only until O) I also rotated every other night with flax seed oil and omega-3 fish oil, which wasn't part of the recipe. |

Thanks Everyone for the support. Just a bad day...but onto the next month right
Melissa-Okay, you'll have to help me out...what is EPO? I have been taking PNV. I will admit that the last month or so I've been good about taking them everyday, but in the past, I wouldn't take them all the time. I am not going to make a decision yet about going to 100 mg of Clomid until I get my bloodwork back. I just don't see the issue being with the ovulation because after charting since April 09, there has been only one month that my LP was only like 8 days. Other then that, you can see the thermal shifts and the monitor goes off indicating O. Am I wrong to think that? I am liking the idea to try out the other stuff more, so any ideas are good. Baby asprin, tea, whatever. Thoughts? |

Erin- So sorry that the bitch is here in full force... Hopefully the bloodwork will give you a little insight as to what is going on. Have you ever had your thyroid tested? I know many girls have had a slight thyroid problem, took meds for it and got pg shortly after, your blood work tomorrow shouls indicate anything like that. I hear you on the clomid, it does seem like if you are ovulating regularly then the clomid wouldn't really do a whole lot for you, but I guess your Dr wouldn't have prescribed it if he didn't think it was beneficial. Have you thought about acupunture at all? I know a lot of woman swear by that as well, I did 3 sessions before my transfer. I also got more dedicated to working out, drinking lots of water, eatting better and trying to get enough sleep. Who knows if any of that played a role in anything, but I know that if I have to go through this again I will be doing the same things!! Also for vitamins I take a multi, folic acid, calcium/vit D, fish oil, iron, and a baby aspirin.
AFM- I'm still feeling good, I had some mild nausea yesterday and a bit worse this morning, but right now I'm feeling good! I haven't had anymore spotting, so I'm feeling pretty good that if it hasn't gotten worse by now then things are probably OK. I bought 10 more dollar tree tests last night and the lines have been getting darker and darker, so that's also a good sign! Official beta tomorrow!!

Stephanie ~ Yay for darker HPTs!!!
Erin ~ Sorry, EPO = Evening Primrose Oil. I forgot to add baby aspirin to the a.m. and I actually only took it when I wasn't bleeding which wasn't long in my case. My doctors didn't want the baby aspirin contributing to the bleeding so I took it from the end of AF to the beginning of the next one or in my case when the bleeding stopped to when it started again. |
