Lauren - (((HUGS))) I know your feelings must be mixed. I say a decade of the rosary for those of you on this side every morning on the way to work, and Friday I was specifically praying for you, Lauren. The next step is exciting, and must be scary. I bet that, even though it won't have your genes, you'll still see your expressions on your child.

Lauren - I'm not sure why this is the road that was chosen for you and I wish it were easier for you, but I know that when you and your dh have your baby, he/she will be YOURS regardless. You will carry the baby and you will be his/her mother and the bond will be even stronger!

Lauren - I too am sorry the IUI didn't work, but I think you are headed in the right direction! I'm sure all the mixed emotions will dissapear when you hear your baby's heart beat, first movement, and see that beautiful face appear in this world and you'll know that he/she is you and dh's very own. I just want to say Good Luck as you being this amazing journey!

Lauren-First wanted to say sorry that AF showed again. I can only imagine the bag of mixed feelings that you are experiencing. I continue to admire your strength. As Rebecca said we don't know why this is the path of your journey but all I know is that you and DH are strong and will succeed. No matter how that is done and through what means it will be your child. I wish you lots of luck and baby dust as you continue.

Lauren, I am so sorry AF showed. {{{Big hugs}}} I know you are sad that this was your last shot with your eggs, did you ever get a second opinion? Maybe you still have time before you proceed with the DE. Then you would know in your heart that this is the path for you. Know that God doesn't make mistakes, we may not understand the path he has chosen, but this was always his plan for you and your baby.
