How did you decide to take a break??

We have completed two failed IUI's and tomorrow I have a consultation for starting injectables next month. I am set up for another round of the same iui / clomid - but part of me just wants a break.
the other part feels like - if i don't do it - this would be THE MONTH - then I am thinking maybe I am one of those lucky ones that gets preg on the off cycle.

I just don't know what to do???????????????????????????????

Kristen - Don't know if this thread will help. But it came up last month.

You have to do what's right for you and your DH. Me being in your shoes I would probably go for it.

Kristen- i know it´s hard to decide something like that, but i think taking a break sounds very reasonable. TTC takes a huge tollon our emotions, and 3 months in a row, would ,for me, be hard enough.
I´m currently on a temp break, and our dr suggested IUI for the next cycle, but i just think i´m gonna wait until next year to try IUI.

You do, what you feel like, if youre up to it, the good for you. If you feel emotionally drained... then take a break.

Well, just got back from the re.

He had no problem and even thought a month off would be a good thing. Then next cycle I will start with injectible / iui.

so I am officially on a break / but we will still try
