Hello there. I hope I'm in the right place?

My name is Carey and my husband and I decided we just can't wait any longer to have a baby. We want one so bad. I am overweight, but have lost alot of weight so far, and am fairly healthy enough I believe, even though I am a diabetic (but not too bad, my sugar is in control).

I was hoping others with my experience might come forward with some tips or advice? Thanks!

Carey - Welcome. I don't have anything to offer specifically, but if your sugar is under control, you have lost some weight and your cycles are regular, you should be okay! How long are your cycles?? Have you thought about using opks (ovulation predictor kits) or temping??

My cycles are roughly every 40 days. A bit long, I know. I am due to start my menstruation around the 16 or so of this month, so I think I'm right around the right time to start trying.

I am going to start a chart for myself and see about temping.

Sorry to say I do not have any advice for you (because I am new to this), but I just thought I would say that you are definitely not alone. I am not diabetic, but I am overweight. It is one of my concerns for TTC as well... I wish you the best of luck and if I get any tips I will let you know!
