Tracy - Your body is in a hormonal upheaval. My next cycle started about 4 weeks after I quit bleeding. I don't think you want to take anything to get it started. You need some time for your hormones to get back on track. I know it sucks, I've been there, but so many things have happened and it will just take some time. My dr originally told me that I would get a period 4-6 weeks after I quit bleeding from the m/c and he was right. Hang in there.

Tracey - rac is so right. It's a terrible, terrible, gut-wrenching thing. You HAVE to give your body a chance to heal, and give yourself a minute to breathe to see how your emotions are. After my first m/c, I was in no shape to be pregnant again for months (like 8 months!)-- I was REALLY screwed up physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. After my second m/c (in April this year), my body healed and righted itself in about 2 months, and I was emotionally in a much better place with it.

Be as good to your poor body as you can. Take vitamins. Drink orange juice. And breathe...

I posted a message on here right after Rebecca did, basically saying that she's right. Now I'm looking at this thread and see that it is gone. Does anyone have access to erase it? There should have been no reason what so ever for it to be erased!

Tracey - Rac and Gem (and Regina's erased message too) are right. I think I was the latest miscarriage of the ladies on this site before you. My body is STILL struggling to heal, after just over 2 months. I even had what seemed like a normal cycle right after the miscarriage, and then last cycle I was annovulatory and bled or spotted through the whole thing. I know it's excruciatingly painful and you just want everything to be right again, but the body will work itself out eventually.

I *think* I might have O'd on schedule this month, and I have to say it's the best feeling in the world. I'm still nervous that my temps are going to drop, but I just pray that my body has finally regulated.

I know that's not what you really want to hear, but it's the advice the doctors give, and the advice that the other ladies on this site who have miscarried gave to me.
