JJ - for some reason, I'm not getting your chart. FF might be having an issue or something. Anyway, when I looked at it earlier this evening, you did definitely O. I'm wondering if maybe you missed the peak of your lh surge and tested positive at the end of the surge, hence the postive opk after O. Anyway, those temps definitely say that you did O. I wish I could see your chart now to say which day. I'm guessing that if you changed your analysis settings on FF, you'd get crosshairs. I always use FAM.

edit - I tried looking at other charts and FF is definitely having a problem.

JJ~ The not having to temp was the major draw for me, with my erratic sleep patterns it seems like it was made with me in mind......Considering that DH was eight hours ahead of me the only time I could talk to him was on his way home from work so that really tangled my sleep patterns. Now it should be interesting having him an hour behind for a month and then two hours ahead after the first of the year.

I'm still trying to decide about the OV Watch because of the ease of use, and that it extends the fertility window...but with DH gone kinda doesn't make the expense necessary at this time.

Fun - I didn't realize that your dh would be gone for so long. I hope you caught that egg before he left.

Brandy - Kittens!!! That makes more sense - I was wondering how someone could just casually make such a huge announcement about adopting 2 children like that I know I PMed you this and I know the temping hasn't worked for you but I still think its a much cheaper way to try to figure out your cycles while DH is away... then if its still not working for you, shell out the big bucks for the OV Watch when he gets back. You could also start charting other fertility signs - CM/CP. I know you said that you didn't know for sure but do you know approximately how long he'll be gone?

Melissa - I did temp again this morning... I still can't hear the beeps so I just left in there for 2 minutes!! Thats interesting that travel can throw off your cycle but it does make sense especially since I'm kind of a nervous traveler - not so much about the actual flying but I always feel like we'll be delayed/miss a connection/lose luggage/forget things/etc.

JJ - I just looked at your chart for last month and I think its weird that you don't have crosshairs. Your post-O temps are clearly higher than your pre-O temps. I would guess that you Oed on CD15 but I'm no expect. I think what Rebecca said about missing your LH surge and catching it on the way down makes sense.

Brandy ~ Yay for kitties! Please post pics of the rascals in the pic thread, I would love to see them!

JJ ~ I agree with Irene on Oing on CD15 on that last cycle and that it is weird that there are no crosshairs....hmm

Amber - I have no children yet but I'd like 2 or 3. Technically we've been "trying" since I went off the pill back in April but I would say that the first couple of months didn't really count since we definitely didn't BD right. I still don't feel like I've got a handle on my cycle and its the 7th one I only started temping last month - you can stalk my charts for a little more info.

So my dr called me. He wants me to come in for post coital test right after I get my surge and within 2hr of BDing in the am. I bet I O in the next 2-3 days though going by how dark my OPKs have been. Still - but pretty close. He said depending on the results we may need to do IUI. He wants me to at least have 4-5 cycles on Clomid. He thinks b/c only the last 2 cycles have my LP been a normal length that I am now just hitting my peak fertility and to give up this soon would be silly. So, let's see how everything goes and I sure hope the test comes back fine.

Melissa- What did I win? I didn't know there was a contest.

Irene- I usually get a lot of EWCM but I know Clomid can effect that. Though last cycle, I had a decent amount of it. I check my CM and CP this morning and it was SHOW, but there wasn't hardly any CM. My temps haven't gone up yet so I'm a little confused.

Ambrose- I have 3 children, DSD is 8, DD is 7 and DS is 4.5. This is our 9th cycle TTC and temping.

Stacey - Sounds like a good plan. What your dr said about your lp and your cycles sounds logical. I hope you don't have to do iui and you get that eggie!

Amber- Actually I had no problems getting pg before. With DD it only took us 2 cycles and with DS it was the 1st cycle TTC/Charting. This really is something I never expected and I honestly don't know why it has come to this, but God's timing is always perfect so I must trust in that.

Thanks for stalking my chart. I think I o'd on cd15 too. I'm guessing I got the end of the surge with the opk too-it was dark the day before, but not totally positive.
I was feeling good about this cycle, but with the low temp this morning, I'm not feeling as good anymore. I hope it's a one day thing. Oh well. If I look at the cycle I got pregnant, my temps were all over the place, and I still got pg. LOL

Amber-We tried for 4 months with our first one, but he was stillborn. Then we had to wait three cycles to try again. We're currently in the 2nd cycle of trying. I would like a bunch of kids, but now I'd be happy with just one healthy one.

Stacey-It sounds like you have a good plan. Hopefully you won't need the IUI.

Amber ~ I'm 29, DH is 32 and we don't have any human children, just a male cat and female cat whom we love dearly but of course we want the human kind as well. I went off the patch in January to "regulate my cycles." We started trying in June, but I started actively charting and using OPKs for Aug, Sept & Oct. We are on an unofficial TTC break due to the fact that I am going to be in a wedding next year, which I'm not that eager to really be in anymore, I'd rather be pg. I still temp because during the cycles that I was temping, using OPKs etc, I noticed that a large number of cycle days I had spotting. I went to the dr regarding this and I was told "to lose weight" and "relax." So I'm working on the weight part (I have a WW meeting in 15 minutes) and I'm trying to "relax" by not using OPKs and being so paranoid, but I do have a somewhat stressful job as a teacher.

Going back to the spotting, I'm pleased to say that this cycle I have not had any spotting yet!!! And I believe tomorrow will be 14DPO, so yay for me! Although I am currently reading TCOYF and although I really like the book because it talks about everything, I don't like it because I am self diagnosing myself with every malfunction the book talks about! For example this is what I think I have this week "Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome (LUFS) - It would seem as if you ovulated and maybe even conceived, because you would experience a normal buildup of cervical fluid...followed by a temp shift w/ temps remaining high for about 12 to 16 days. This condition is particularly frustrating if you are trying to conceive, since you might mistakenly think you're PG, given the misleading nature of your charts & the fact that your period may be delayed." But temp went down today and I had some mild cramping so I think AF is on her way, so I guess I'm still being paranoid, so scratch out the above comment!
