Becky- Thanks for the support! I think that you will love both of those movies. P.S. I love you is the better movie, but I sure do love Katherine! Let me know on the movie review thread what you thought of them. I am so sorry about your bw today! Why don't they just listen to us. It's not as if we have never had our blood drawn before. Why can't they just listen to us when we say a butterfly needle? Arrrrrgggg some people! Have fun watching those movies. TTYL

Mary -- some people can be so insensitive. I'm glad we have this website with so many supportive people!

Question... How do you check other charts? I can check those posted with FF, but when I click on others (lilypie, for example) it simply goes to the specific homepage.

Lindy.. Yup... I graduated in 2006. Funny thing is... I'm not a big fan of lawyers... lol. Some are so full of themselves, it gives the rest a bad name. When I was interviewing with firms, you could tell the 'bad' ones by the way they treated their staff. That helped me decide where to go when I got my license Family law is an excellent field... although you have to build up somewhat of a wall as it can pull on your heartstrings. My job is okay... it pays the bills (lots of student loans). Eventually I'd like to work at a legal aid clinic or organization...there are so many people that need legal assistance but can't afford it. Most of the clients are abused spouses, single parents, children, or the elderly. It is hard emotionally, but what a difference you are making. Personally, I would rather counsel and draft legal documents than be in the front of a court room (although I do it on occasion... I don't jump for joy when the event arises). I volunteered at a women's shelter in college, and that is what made me want to go to law school. I worked at a free clinic in law school... and I LOVED it... the clients were so appreciative and friendly. The last week I was there... I developed a trust for this elderly lady, and the next day she brought in brownies for the whole clinic...stuff like that keeps me motivated

Sorry... I tend to ramble... (sorry.. I've always wanted to use that one... lol). I hope everyone has a wonderful night!

Rebecca~I've been feeling normal. I'm still feeling something in the ovary area though. It's not a lot, just a few twinges here and there. I don't know if that's the after effects of clomid or what. How are you feeling?

Lindy~The iui went fine. I spent the first week feeling good mentally about it, but now that I'm starting the second week, I'm beginning to get nervous.

Irene~Yeah, my dr said since I was already pg, we know the tubes aren't blocked. She said this at one of my first appts, when I thought I just needed a "little help" and I'd get pg again, so I didn't think much of it at the time. Now though, I'm thinking that we only know that *one* tube is open (I o'd from the right that month) and the last two months I've been o-ing from the left. So, I'm going to ask for it if I'm not pg. I'd like to wait until school's out though so I don't have to miss another day. By the way, I love everyone's names in their colors!

Mary~My RE wants me to poas, even if I get AF. I think just to double check before going on to another medicated cycle, since clomid can cause problems in a fetus. But I'll wait until I'm definitely late. I don't want to sit there wondering if a line is an evap or the real thing, kwim?

Becky~Hi back at you

Mare~As you can see, I tend to ramble too. LOL

We found out today that the clinic I go to doesn't do a shared risk program, so the cost of a de ivf would be around 23K, with no guarantees. There's another clinic near here that does do shared risk, it's 4 tries at 33K and you get most of your money back if you don't have a living baby at the end. They both have about the same success rates, according to the cdc. So we've been looking into that and into adoption. I'm hoping the iui works and we won't need to worry about that.

Irene ~ I keep staring at Claire's glitter name. Could you make my name in the font you used for Claire's name but with my color???

Rebecca & JJ ~

Okay, I filled a pantyliner today, I'm officially calling it CD1 today, yipee. I'm not going back now, I'm not! ... Even though once I put a pad on, it went back to spotting...*sigh*

Default Good morning

Wow, I can't believe the weekend is almost here!

Well I wasn't able to get a temp this morning, after waxing the boat last night we didn't put the tarp back on so I could take it to get an oil change today. At 5:30am thunder and lightning started, I went out put the tarp on, and by the time I came back in and took my temp it was 95.8. Better luck tomorrow.

And since I will be out of town this weekend, I won't be able to post or see how everyone is doing. Bummer.

Since I'm at CD5 today, I'm assuming we are going to try to BD as much as we can this weekend, and with both of our parents all in the same house it should be interesting. Do you think FF might be off a little with my fert days, since I had such a wacko cycle last month? I guess I will be temping, and as soon as it drops a bit, we'll be doing it like rabbits. DH is really starting to understand the O time and why it's important, he always ask what was your temp today? I think this blog/chat is really help me/us out, so many times I felt like I couldn't/shouldn't talk to anyone about it. Because normally when I would they would say just relax, it will happen when you least expect it. So I just quit talking about it. Now that I'm able to talk about it, I don't seem so pissed about it. More like excited to see us all get pg!

Ok we have production at my work today, it was supposed to start at 7, when I got here, someone didn't make it to work on time, and we are still waiting.

Oh and I can't believe I almost forgot the only reason I got on here, was to tell you about our "child at the moment", as we call her, our 3 year old bassethound Blue. She is so like our child. DH will pick her up and hold her, rock her, and cuddle with her, and she loves it! She is so spoiled, by her Dad, me on the other hand someone has to control her. I will def but a pic up of her. She is so flippin cute, my Dad always says that if our child is anything like our dog, (meaning spoiled) were in lots of trouble.

Ok off to work now, rainy day here in Kansas.

I think I might have freaked out about the yeastie for nothing. I'm still not 100% positive but the clumpier discharge is mostly gone so I think it might have been the dye. I had some more EWCM though which is pretty cool since I don't usually get it - I guess it is IN there just the HSG shook some loose On to BDing - DH better have his game on tonight!!!!

Deanna - I realized I forgot to reply about the instead cups... they are tricky... I found that if you squeeze it in half it just kind of slides in and then it almost positions itself. Now getting it out on the other had is the really tricky part!! I'd understand if you don't use them and I don't know how much difference they make anyway. I kind of like not getting all drippy after BDing though

Mary - I think FF is a little off with your fertile dates but then again you have much shorter cycles than I do so its hard for me to comprehend that you might need to start BDing so soon after AF It is really helpful to talk to people that understand what you're going through... this site has been a godsend for me.

JJ - thats what I figured with the HSG - I knew since the chemical that at least one tube was open but I wanted to make sure they both were. If you're going to wait until AF is late you should use a digital that way there will be no question of staring at lines. Hopefully you won't need it but I think its good that you've found another clinic with a shared risk program... that is alot of money to spend with no guarantee. I'm so proud of you for being open to all the options.

Becky - I'd say you were definitely only 3DPO and that one high temp you discarded was a fluke. I don't know the exact numbers, but judging from this chart your progesterone could have been perfectly normal if you were only 3DPO:

I don't understand why your doctor would want to do a lap and hystero based on a low progesterone level though???

Mel - I'm glad you called since like Claire said its not a bad thing to let them know you really want the job. I hope you hear back from them soon... I think its a really good thing that they have several openings. I'll work on your name in a few minutes.

Ok ladies, I posted a new review for Untraceable in my movie reviews in the TCL. I hope that everyone enjoys what I write. I enjoy talking about movies and what I think about them. All opinions are welcome!

Mary- I hope that you got the boat covered in time. My brother just bought a boat so he will be at the beach this next week trying it out. Then I guess we will be boating all summer.

I am having what I am going to assume is Left side ovary pain. It feels to far away to be ovary pains, but I don't know. It hurts worse than normal. I hope that everyone has a tremendous Thursday!

Becky~Hi! I haven't gotten my new car yet. We ordered one and won't be in until Aug. DH is still looking at other options though. He's driving me nuts! I have my heart set on the one I ordered. It has everything! I am confused as to why your dr would want to do the lap and hysto too based on your progesterone level......you're not on meds right? Sorry if I missed that.

Rebecca~You're chart is looking great! I have my fingers crossed for you! Clomid did make my temps higher too, but only by like .2 degree's or something. Yours are much higher I thought than your last cycle.

My u/s is today at 1. I think I already o'd though. Guess i'll find out. CD13 which was 2 days ago I had the O pain I get in my right side. Broke down did an OPK and it was +. Even with really like urine. We BD that day, skipped yesterday and will today. I'll be curious to see if I did though. I've been wondering if its possible that once my temp goes up that maybe I haven't o'd yet. Cause we stop having BD after the temp goes up. We are still on BD schedule until CD20 darn it!!!!

Hope everyone has a good day! Weekend is almost here!!! A long weekend for me too...no work Monday!!!

Deanna- Good luck w/ the u/s!

Becky- Well, RAC is the leading authority, but I pulled out my CD21 b/w sheet to compare. My CD21 was actually 6dpo instead of 7, but mine was 18.6. The number 13 is sticking out in my head. I'm not sure that 3DPO would cause the #'s to be too far off, because it is still post-o. KWIM? But my sheet says that LP Progest range is:3.34-25.56. That's kind of confusing.

Irene- Glad it doesn't look like you have a yeastie. I'm sure the HSG stirred something up in there. To answer your question about the lap, what I've learned is that they (dr's) ALL seem to resort to the lap b/c they have no other way of knowing what's going on inside. u/s and MRI are pretty limited in what they show. So, once again, we can put a man on the moon, but we have to go inside to dx women's issues! grr....are you sensing any bitterness, here?

Mary- "waxing the boat, huh"? that sounds kinky! LOL

Mel- COPYCAT!!!! j/k, you know. Sorry AF is so wonky. It's a wonder you are still sane, girl. That would drive me nuts. Keep us posted on the job, still sounds promising!

Lindy- I wonder if maybe the way the lab measures volume is a little different than a cup at the house? I mean, I don't know how else they'd do it, but who knows? I too wanted a microscope as I've done s/a on horses, but I realized I couldn't afford one powerful enough. (My boss had the one when we were breeding horses).

Hi everyone who I missed!

So, I guess my O is officially "delayed" (by one day, guess it's not too bad, but still). I have no idea what is going on. I've been really lax w/ my temps, but My OPKS have been stark white! Usually, I have a faint line for a day or so before I get my + (I never get a true +, but Dr. told me to count the darkest line as my +). So, I'm not sure if it is my internet cheapie OPK (everyone else seems to do well with them). Or maybe the travel delayed it? But even though TX "is like a whole other country" I didn't really travel that far or for very long.

And to make matters worse, DH is going to be in CO ALL WEEKEND . His mother called and said that her rental properties in Pagosa Springs were totally trashed by the last tennants and she needs DH to go up there and help fix and paint and clean . There's a lot of drama here that is too long, but I'll sum it up by saying that MIL moved to Oregon 6 years ago, b/c (step) FIL needed low elevation and wanted to get away from his kids in CO. So kids in CO won't help clean up, even though the property TECHNICALLY belongs to FIL, NOT MIL. So I'd better TODAY or we'll miss it entirely .

Whew, sorry, had to vent.

Becky - SO sorry I missed your question about about progesterone. um, yes, that is a low number BUT considering that you're only 3 dpo, you probably don't have anything to worry about. Did your doctor tell you specifically to come on cd21 (most do) and did you suggest that you O late?? I wish you could have waited a few more days for a more accurate result.

I would definitely recommend getting the HSG, but I'd hold off on the lap. It's a more invasive procedure - it's actual surgery and it may not be necessary. Refresh my memory - what other testing have you had??

Claire - I can understand why doctors want to do laps since its really the only way to figure out certain things. I know that Becky's doctor wanted to do a lap anyway since they suspect endo - I was just confused since I didn't know if that had anything to do with her progesterone level. Maybe I read wrong though and it was unrelated. Higher than 10 in an unmedicated cycle is what they're looking for (I know since I freaked out that mine was only 11.2).

Deanna - did your doctor suggest that you BD until CD20? Maybe the femara made you O earlier this time? I guess we'll see in a few days.

Lindy - thats really early for ovulation pains, isn't it?

I have to share this with you all. I haven't been on here much as I just wanted to go a while without thinking about trying to get pregnant. Well AF was to show up on the 17th of May and as of today she has still not shown up so I am going to test tomorrow morning to see if I get a + or a -

Please pray that it finally happened.

Sweetpea, you've got a heckuva lot more will-power than I ever have, to wait this long to test! Hope you get that BFP.

Totally know what you mean about trying to get away from thinking about it. It's been plaguing my thoughts and life for over three years now. Makes you insane...then eventually, mostly numb, with bursts of feeling.

Irene- Sorry if I came off wrong. I wasn't getting on your case, quite the contrary, I was agreeing with you as to what the progesterone has to do with the lap-I have no idea other than it seems like "when in doubt, cut em open". All I was saying is that it seems like they just LOVE the lap. At least my second doctor let me decide, not that choice B was all that appealing (hormone induced menopause).

Becky- I'm not sure what other testing you've had done. In my case, my cycles were normal and b/w looked good and didn't suggest PCOS (the other possibility for my symptoms), so really if I wanted the pain to go away AND concieve Lap seemed my only choice(and they ran dye through my tubes while they were in there, a plus). I agree with RAC that you should make sure the other tests that you can do are done. Yes, the lap is a few inch long inscisions, general anethesia, and a week off work, but I wouldn't let it scare ya too bad if that's what the doc thinks is best.

Sweetpea- Good luck and keep us posted!
