Ok, wanted to update everyone on our marriage. Wahoo to some fun times in the bedroom. We didn't try the whole helicopter thing but he was lucky to get a BJ which made him very happy! I think he is serious about not doing anymore of those things. I was willing to compromise until he started hiding it all. Anyway. I may not be able to catch up on all the posts tonight but I will try.

Mary- If you haven't used OPK's before it is really hard to know what you are seeing unless it is really clear. FF has image galleries of + and - OPK's that might help you determine what yours were. My control line is almost always lighter than the test line. Although with the new test I went from no line to a light line, but never got a darker line. I did have my temp drop followed by several high temps to confirm O. I would wait a couple of days to know for sure. Just keep BD in the mean time. I know it is hard to wait to see a real result. It takes a bit to get the hand of interpretation.

Deanna-Claire was the was the one who had the Lap done. I do hope that you get some answers and some relief. Keep us updated.

Rebecca- I am going to check FF, but how's it going at this point? I hope this IUI is successful. I have a friend that had to do IVF and she finds out tomorrow if she is PG. She and her DH have been trying for 8 years.

Claire- I am really proud of you for not smoking. How was your weekend? I am going to do a last chance workout tomorrow before I weigh in.

Irene-I haven't seen you on here today. I just wanted to be sure that you were ok. I am sorry to hear about AF. I wanted to for you.

Mel- Thanks. I just had a shocker of events that escalated too much I guess. I am have been an emotional wreck the last couple of weeks. I hate crying and being emotional. I know that it is healthy to cry but I seriously think I am all cried out.

Ashley- Are you ok, what the heck is going on? I miss you!

Lindy~I thought I updated my post to have it say Claire instead of you lol. After I posted that and left yesterday I started thinking...I put Lindy down! I was going to respond to your post yesterday and ran out of time. So you must have been on my mind

Well, my pain is finally leaving. I ended finally having a BM yesterday and after I did the pressure let up. So glad! I got up this morning and weighed myself first thing....and i've lost 3lbs. Maybe I shouldn't of weighed myself last night after ice cream lol.

Deanna - YAY to three pounds! I'm down by 4 and hoping to be down another 6 in a few weeks!

Mary - Yes, it happens that fast. Be sure that the opk you thought was positive really was, though. The test line has to be as dark as or darker than the result line. If yesterday's opk was really positive, yes, I would expect O to be today or tomorrow.

Lindy - I'm glad you and your dh are getting along. My dh got another stupid text message the other day. I told him to tell his friend to quit sending them. Then I said 'no, better yet, the next time I see him, I will tell him'. Well, dh told him about it yesterday.

As for me...it's going. Still no positive opk and my temp dropped so maybe I'm getting closer.

Dh and I were going to golf yesterday, but it was so crappy and rainy, so we went to the movies. We saw What Happens in Vegas with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. OMG was it funny! We were both LOL!

Short and not very consistent cycles, some times there right at 26 and sometimes 22. Next cycle I'm going to move up to the digital opk. Since I've never used the opks, what I thought was a positive yesterday, was two lines that looked the same. Nothing like what I had seen or am seeing now. And I had all the O cramping that you guys have been talking about. So no, I did not have any surge this morning. And my temp steady at 97.5.

But now I have another problem, looks like the preseed gave me a yeast infection. Which just makes me worry, what should I do? Stop using the preseed? Can I treat the YI?

And so like in a few days, I'm going to be all over wanting to POAS? I already am thinking about it, and like I've said before I NEVER taken one! But I would like to see if doing at the right time, with a little preseed actually made a difference. When can I test?

Mary - Before you start thinking about testing, let's confirm ovulation. Did you enter your positive opk in FF?

I've never heard of anyone getting a yeast infection from using preseed, but it's possible. I'd stop using it and treat the yeast.

Mary-I actually don't get REAL TRUE +opk. As if there isn't enough to confuse you about. My Dr. said some women's surge is not enough for a true + so I count my darkest line as my +. You really may not know when you truly O for a good 3-4 days after the fact. The first cycle charting is the baseline, ya know? I hate it when DH can't BD during O!

Deanna-Well, by the time I logged on, you had changed it to me. So I was confused by what lindy said! LOL. What meds are you on again that seem to be causing the pain? Where is the pain? I think, when in doubt, that having the lap done is REALLY good and outweighs the bad parts of it b/c then you know FOR SURE what is going on. Seriously, if Betsy is the sperm queen, I must be the endo queen by now! LOL. So, let me know if you have questions.

Mel- Ok, girl. Here's what we are gonna do: I'm gonna fly to CA, bitch slap your NP and make you an appt at a doctor who will give you some answers!!!! LOL- {{{hugs to you}}}} I really think you need to step this up on the diagnoses stuff. This spotting isn't normal, I don't think. And you have to be going a little crazy with the uncertainty.

Oh, and I know we have "beaten" the porn issue to death (pun intended) but I have one more thing to say: My main issue with it is that my DH has a waaaayyy lower sex drive than me. K so Happy Belated Mom's Day to all... This is a big deal and it really bothers me. Every year, Dh and I host the fam Mom/Dad Day's picnic, which we love, but people r just so rude! Even DH. I mean would it hurt to buy a freeking card. I make sure that we have flowers and cards for all invited. What do I get?? Oh well maybe one day you'll be a mommie too... It just urks' me. DH did get me a card from Foz, which I thought was cute but I know he only did it bc I said something. I just wanted so badly to scream It's not that I don't want to be a mommie... I just can't yet! I didn't.. just smiled and walked away!
K so something really funny happened. MIL had brought some dvd's of video that they made from her childhood and since her entire fam was here they wanted to watch. K so I had to unplug the WII and cnnect the DVD player (which I never use bc I only watch TV in my br). SO I plugged it in and turned it on... Wlked away to get her DVD and oh KariSweets! DH was mortified. I just left the room and let him handle that. Totally busted! Maybe that was the icning on the cake... we'll see...

Well I'm already back! I got my exercise for today too because its raining here in NYC so there were no cabs to be found. I had to walk from 46th & Park to 59th & Madison and since I had about 10 min for a 15 min walk I was going pretty fast... I made it in 12 Then I raced back here because I hate being gone from work so much. They checked my weight too and it was 159 with clothes and shoes on so maybe I lost some... She only took one vial thank goodness. My doctor said they only check for FSH. I asked about LH and she said that checking LH for PCOS is 10 years outdated? Then before getting clomid, I have to go back for more b/w on CD21 [again]. I said [again] well I might not have Oed by then... she said thats okay, if it shows that you haven't Oed we'll definitely start you on clomid the next cycle. I guess its just their protocol which is kind of dumb but what can you do.

Claire - honestly I think beating off to a piece of paper is just easier for a guy. You might think he has no sex drive but it might be more of an issue with confidence - you know there's alot more pressure when you have to get someone else off too.

Lindy - I'm glad that you've forgiven DH and been able to move forward.

Deanna - I kind of suspect I have endo as well (my mom had it too and I have weird sharp pains with my period). I mentioned it to my doctor and she wants to hold off on the lap since its so invasive and my pain isn't that bad. But like you if all my other testing comes back normal and we're still not successful, its something I will do. P.S. I'm on Cycle 12 on FF too - boo!

Mary - I think 12DPO is the earliest I would recommend testing... you are quite a ways from that since we don't even have a confirmed O yet. I know its hard but you have to take it one day at a time. I've never heard of preseed causing yeast infections either but I agree with Rebecca, stop using it and treat the YI.

Rebecca - I want to see that movie... I've heard really good things about it!

Mel - I hope Claire does bitch slap your NP... I might come along and tag team her. I'm with you on the strip club thing... I'm okay with it for the most part but I just can't let myself think about it too much because even though I know he won't DO anything bad, I don't like thinking about him getting a hard-on from looking at other women.

Betsy - your opinions are always welcome here!!! I tend to agree with you especially on the issue of expressing affection during challenging times/arguments. I know its tempting to "punish" DH by withholding sex and affection but I've found that it usually only compounds the problem.

Well I scheduled my HSG for next Monday at 4:00. Hopefully the pain won't be too bad and I'll have no problem going back to work the next day. Weird thing though is that I asked if there was anything I needed to do to prepare and she told me to refrain from any sexual activity until the exam? Thats a freaking week away!!

Ashley/Rebecca - movies are expensive... its been a long time since we went to one. We usually watch at home too - I like being able to pause to go to the bathroom or rewind if I missed something. But there's something about the whole popcorn experience at the theatre that is so much fun and almost makes it worth it.

Mel - I'm so far from S&TC! I have a friend who's more into the scene and she wears cute outfits and Manolo Blahniks, etc. Sometimes I'm jealous but then I remember that she's still single! I go through phases where I want to be more chic and have outits but I snap out of it pretty quickly because its too darn expensive. Good luck on your interview!!!

Rebecca - I have no idea how she checks for PCOS then. I guess she doesn't think I have it from my u/s results so I'm not too worried about it.
