Hello Ladies! SO I had another relaxing day... I'd better stop this, it's getting too comfy. I really need to clean!!! Oh well.

Irene, My fingers are crossed for you and i'll be praying for you tonight as you brake that little stick in the am...

Claire, You know it!!! One month has to be diff right??? I can't poss O every month mid week... wth! Oh and about your vent... It's so okay!! You wouldn't be normal if you didn't argue sometimes. And besides, it's healthy for a relationship. I do know how upsetting it can be however, men just sometimes don't understand. Oh and I def agree w/ Irene about the lingerie. He obviously loves you for you already, so go get the secrets and put em' on girl!

Mary, Well you're a chatty little thing today. Glad to see you're one of our newest addicts. DH think's I'm crazy bc i'm forever on my cell reading threads (even thought i can't always reply). Oh about reacting to others who are og... You're always happy for them, yet jealous! If DH is uncomfy, just simply tell them congrats, and vent your frustrations to him afterwards. You're time will come!!!

Deanna, Good luck w/ AF! Lemme know if you do get the instead, I just ordered the preseed, but forgot about them. I'm really thinking about it though?!?!?

Lindy, Thanks!! And when do you have time to watch all these movies girl?? Jeepers!

Yeah... Where r u Mel??

Lindy-you are doing a great job with your diet, keep up the good work! I also love your movie reviews

Claire-sorry you are having a rough time of it with Dh. It sounds like after things calmed down some of what you said sunk in.

Irene-I will be checking in on you tomorrow and praying for your BFP!

Ashley-Since you got a positive OPK there is a chance that you did O. FF may give you crosshairs if tomorrow's temp is high.

Default Good evening!

woah, me and DH just had a blow out, and decided to get back on here and read some more.

Clare- So sorry. I hate when I tell DH how I'm feeling and some how some way it turns into me insulting him? I've only been with DH for 3 years, married for 10 mo. and already feel like he has completely changed. We went from once maybe twice a day to twice a week if I'm lucky. And please don't apoligize for venting. We all like to feel like we aren't the only ones!

banjosmom- Thank you so much! You're awesome! I'll go buy some opks tomorrow. I'm still working on the ticker, maybe tonight if I have more time. Are the movies rentals? And keep up the good work!

Deanna- What are the cups? I feel your pain. I just thought we would BD a lot and that would be it, silly me. And the preseed was a good experience for us. They recommend putting it in 10 min. prior, but I was onk, and was afraid it would not stay up there, TMI sorry, so I rushed him in there after two. How long have you been ttc?

To everyone else, thanks for all your help and support. You guys are all so sweet! Gotta get back to the stalking aka learning...LOL

Bina, I hope they do... I'm very curious to see others opinions. I'm kinda thinking Tues or mid week, but what do I know. All I do know is that I doubt those swimmers lasted long enough, so onto next cycle... UGH!!!

Mary, the instead cups are to help keep the fluids in longer... Still not really sure how they work, but i'm sure they come w/ and explanation...

Hi Goils! I'm here, just lurking There's is nothing really new to report with me except A) My school sucks as you all know and no one is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week (it hasn't been celebrated since I've been here, either) B) One of my students will be out for the rest of the year because he was shot in the neck a couple of weeks ago (he's alive but still in the hospital) C) Cap'n just told me I got a message from a school I applied to, yippee!

Mary, welcome. You've come to a good place, everyone here is awesome and you will be a pro in no time.

Mary - With a 25 - 26 day cycle, you *should* ovulate somewhere between cd 10 - cd 14. I would get opks and start them today if I were you.

Lindy - No, IUI won't be till early next week some time - depending on what that clomid did to my body.

Irene..... did I miss something? Are you poas today?

Rebecca - I was considering POAS this morning since I got my BFP last cycle at 12DPO. But since my temp dipped a bit and I have no reason to think I'm pg (last cycle just felt different and my temps were triphasic), I decided to hold off and not waste my money... I'm not a big POASer anyway. If AF still hasn't shown up by Monday I will test then but I'm not holding my breath.

Bina/Ashley - thanks for the prayers... I know its not over til she shows but I'm not feeling very positive for this cycle.

Mel - I'm going to ignore the first two (I really can't wait til you're out of there) and just say yippee for the good news!

Ashley/Mary - here's the website for the Instead Cups... once you see them its kind of evident how they work LOL! Menstrual Cups, Feminine Products & Menstruation Products DH jokes that they looks like very short, very fat condoms. It can be a little tricky figuring out how to get them in and especially how to get them out which is kind of ick but once again I've determined that there's pretty much nothing I won't do for a baby!

Mary - I would hold off on using the preseed until your more fertile days after you get a positive OPK since its kind of expensive. I've actually found that the preseed helps keep the seminal fluid in better too which is weird since you'd think it would make everything even more goopy.

Irene - I've noticed the same thing about the preseed and I thought it was strange that you have less leakage, too. Weird how that stuff works!

Default Morning

Ok I'll try not to be as chatty today, I'm just excited, it's just nice talking with people that understand what's going on.

Irene- I'll do some research on the cups, so you use them to keep the sperm in the right place? That might be a good one for us. Ok and I hear you on the preseed, and expensive yes. Will the opk tell me two days before O? I get my strips today and go from there. Do you do that in the morning as well? Or can I pee on one tonight? Also what is POAS? Peeing on a stick?

So maybe I jumped the gun on the preseed, but after everything I read about it, it sounds like just what we need. But I guess if you don't do it at the right time, no use huh?

Ok I think DH thinks I'm getting a little pshyco about all of this. Which I probably am, and probably need to just relax. Does any of your DH's want to understand or try to?

Hope everyone has a great Thursday, just two more days until the weekend!
Whoot! Whoot!

Default preseed

Oh yes Irene, I forgot about that, we loved the preseed, and I thought it was very strange that it didn't just start running down my leg, TMI...eeewww sorry.

Mary - I think Betsy had the best analogy about DH's and TTC - they're on the same roller coaster but we're in the front seat and they're way in the back. It takes them a lot longer to understand (or even want to). We've been trying for over a year and I still have to explain things to my DH multiple times before it sinks in. OPKs usually only tell you the day before you O so once you figure out when you typically O in future cycles you can start using the preseed earlier. Some people have had success using FMU (first morning urine) although most of the sticks tell you the best time is the afternoon. I know that Lauren actually uses 2 a day just in case because if you have a shorter surge you could miss it within a 24 hour window.

Ok so I'm confused. My temp had a 3pt increase??? Maybe norm... maybe not?? Oh well. So DH comes home today and i'm psyched! Well not as excited as last week bc atleast I knew we were in the race still, but it's just really nice having him home.

Mel... What did they say??? Hopefully they want you to join them. I'm praying for you on that!

Rac, We've got our fingers crossed for that IUI... I think dh should go have a pep-talk with his boys! j/k... Who knows right...

Irene, you are def right. We'll see what happens in the next few days. Thanks for the link... but lemme just tell you that you're scaring me. Maybe we'll just try the preseed this next cycle and see where that takes us. It should be arriving soon... I just hope dh realizes how much it was so that he doesn't go crazy w/ it. Maybe it's time for me to take the control?? I'm hoping that this alone will help hold some contents in for me. We'll see!

Mary, you can talk as much as you'd like.. Thats why we're all here. Oh and about the opk's... I always test twice, or even sometimes 3 times in a 24 hr pd. I have gone cycles where I never got a +, and it was bc I missed the surge. So now when I test, it's always w/ fmu at around 7am and then again around 7pm. So like every 12 hrs. Or if I feel like I know I should be getting a +. I will test at like 7, 3, and 11... just as to not miss it. (I actually feared that I wasn't Oing and went to the DR bc of these little sticks. She, as well as many girlies here have just pointed out to me that sometimes they r just hard to read, poss expired, or if u didn't test at the right time, then you just missed that pd bc of a shortened surge...) BTW... I'm one of those POASaholics!!!

Ashley - try playing around in FF - you can click on the discard button for those open-circle super high temps you had pre-O. It will probably give you CH then since you've had 3 higher temps after the positive OPK. Do you think you haven't Oed yet? Have you used anymore OPKs after that positive one?

Ashley - With your goofy temps and missing some temps, I'd say you O'd at some point within the past three days - possibly yesterday.

I'll let dh know to have that talk with 'his boys'.

Rac, yeah I kinda think so too... it wouldn't be that easy for me to have waitied till he came home again... That would just be silly. I'm telling you, I feel that pep talk will help (he's prob like who r these freeks u talk to

Mary~ No worries on being chatty! You gotta talk to someone, right? About your DH: Mine glazes over and changes the subject when I talk about all the TTC stuff. So, now it's down to the fact that he knows I temp, but doesn't say anything. So, I don't tell him anything except when I had the +HPT. I mean He is now getting good enough to occasionally ask:so, when are you fertile?
Rac (our resident expert/leading authority) is right about when you should O. I just wanted to pipe in that what she meant was, in a good scenario that is when you would O, but it is possible for things to be all hinky. That is one of the reasons why we chart, too, is to help ID any issues we may have. As far as FF chart saying anything about your AF- that is data that you put in, so I dunno bout that one. Whoo, I'm long winded, huh?

Irene- I'm so proud that you aren't much for POAS. And Jealous! I LOVE to POAS....the first step is admitting I have a problem, right?

Ashley-YAY for DH coming home.....maybe you could just handcuff him to the bed during your fertile periods, huh? Ooooo, I'm bad! LOL

Mel- I can't believe one of your students got shot....ok, strike that, with what you have told us, I guess I can believe it. That is terrible. So, you got word from a place you applied? Well, what did it say?

Rac-So you did or didn't IUI again? I'm a dork.

Lindy- Thanks for the encouragement! You are kickin butt, girl. I had that wierd 5lb jump, and as of this AM, I've lost all but 1lb. So, I'll be back to starting weight, at least. But still going strong on the smokes!

Thanks everyone for the help yesterday. I just thought it only fair to report that DH and I had a lovely evening and he seems to be trying real hard. So maybe things will be just fine!
AF is here, which puts this cycle in line with all my other cycle lengths. So, to me, I really think that confirms that the cycle before the lap really was a chem pg, not a fluke long cycle. Not sure if that makes me feel better that we did something right, or worse that it may happen again.
