Ashley & Bina ~ Yep, there is lots of drama at my school, Bina's read quite alot about it. I have started looking for another job, everyone keeps telling me that it shouldn't be hard b/ I teach science but I think it will be hard in that I am going to be extra picky. I don't want to leave one sh*t hole just to go to another, kwim? I want a job in a posh school where the administration will support you and be consistent with a firm hand in discipline. There is a job opening in the same school district as the one I was offered the job at in February. Different school, it is actually a brand new school that just opened its doors last September to Freshmen and Sophomores. The opening is for teaching one, yes one, class of AP Bio. That's it. On the plus side, I think it is a gold mine of a find b/ not many schools offer that position, it's an internal promotion and this school district would likely train me to teach AP Bio, something my current district has been unwilling to do in the last 3 years. On the down side, it is only one class and I would need to find more work to get more money and my second job at the scrapbook store wouldn't be enough. So we'll see what happens. Oh, and Bina the spotting stopped today, yay!

Lindy ~ You shouldn't feel bad about anything. I know personally, just me speaking here, I am happy for every girl who gets a BFP. Sometimes though a BFP will happen on a day when AF arrives for me, or some other cycle problem and it is a little hard, but that is me dealing with me. Like I told Em in the IF board, I want everyone to be happy, your happiness is my happiness. I'm thankful for the support here b/ no one in my life understands truly what I go through except for you girls. We help each other out, that's what we do and we cheer each other on and I love being a part of this board.

Steph ~ I snagged the blinkie too, love it!

Good morning girls I can't believe its May already! I hope it starts to warm up and stay that way! Well, DH says I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, maybe I have. I feel down and depressed. I don't feel hopeful for this cycle or any. I just don't get it! My temp has been about the same all week, so i'm done temping. Its where it was last cycle, so i'm sure I o'd. We got BD in every other day at least. I'm supposed to get a ton of b/w done and i've been putting it off hoping i'd get pregnant this cycle. I'll go get it done Monday I guess!! I hate giving blood!!!

Deanna-sorry you are feeling down, I think we all have ups and downs during the 2ww. Go ahead and get that b/w girl, you will feel better for doing it! I had b/w last month.

A quick update before I head out to work and for b/w. I took another FRER this morning, and the line showed up at the same time as the control line AND it is as dark as the control line, so I feel relieved that things are progressing as they should. Of course once I get the results from the b/w I will feel a lot better.

Bina - I am so glad to hear that everything is looking good so far! I know that you won't be convinced until Friday but I'm feeling great about it for you!

Deanna - <hugs> sorry that you're feeling depressed. I think having the b/w done might give you a boost... I know that doing something always makes me feel better.

Lindy - ditto to what everyone else said. I also occasionally feel guilty venting when I know that some of the IF girls have been through so much more. But then I think how I felt when I first started trying and I realize that they can probably remember how they felt when they had been trying for "just" a year like me. The one good thing though is that reading about other people's struggles can help you count your blessings for what you do have and watch how you say things when you are venting, kwim? As for anyone getting a BFP, we all get that tug of mixed feelings... not that you don't want the person to have one... you just want to have it too! If I had my way, each and every one of us would get our BFPs this very cycle!!!

So I had my follow up with my doctor last night. She did another ultrasound just to make sure there were no residual issues even though we were pretty sure it would be a-ok. Funny thing she gave me a pamphlet for the ovwatch. I don't know if I want to spend the money on it or not though since I think it only works if your cycles are normal... lately they have been but I don't think it would work if I had another 40 or 50 day cycle. She also mentioned that maybe she would put me on progesterone. She wants me to get the CD3 b/w and do the HSG and DH do the SA first but then it sounds like she'll be willing to medicate so we'll see (which is fine since I was already planning to do all the testing if I didn't get a French BFP ).

Good morning ladies! Happy May Day! I can't believe how fast this year is going by. As for yesterday, thank you. I was really emotional yesterday. I don't know what the heck was wrong, but I just wanted to cry about everything. I am not one that cry's. I tell DH that I am all cried out. Any how, I will call around 11 if the dr office hasn't called with b/w results.

Bina- I prayed your numbers would double or triple whichever you needed. Good luck.

Irene- I really do hope that you get your French BFP! If you don't I hope that you get all the meds, and whatever else you need done so you will get your BFP. I am really hoping and praying for you.

Ashley- I hope you are feeling better today.

Mel- I am so happy that you are going to find another school bc that one sounds crazy. I know how awful kids can be. I also know some districts wont do anything for the teachers. I will pray that you find a better school, and give you an increase in pay.

Well, I am going to go grocery shopping. I gotta pick up a scricpt for PNV the dr recommend vs the OTC I was taking. Quick question, he said to stay away from pain relief during fertile time. Does anyone know if this is accurate, because I have had a horrible headache every day for about a week. Which means a migraine is coming on soon. I had to take Advil for two days now bc it was so bad. TTYL

Lindy - I don't remember exactly why, but yes, stay away from them especially naproxen (Aleve) and iubprofin (Advil).

I thought it was during the TWW that you were supposed to avoid painkillers? I know I've screwed up and taken advil blech... I think you're safe to take tylenol though since you can take that when you're actually pg.

Good Morning and Happy May to all!!! Last month def went by way too fast. So I temped again this am, and well needless to say it was way off?? Idunno what thats all suppose to mean. I did have to turn the heat on again last night bc it get really cold out here, so Idunno if that affected my temp any?? I also OPK'd and got a - result, so my wishful thinking of possibly o'ing, is out the door. That would just have been too perfect for me. DH is coming home early today bc I cried last night that I missed him so much. So I promised him dinner and then we have to go shopping for a new-new bedroom set. (Which I'm kinda upset about.) We just bought ours less than a year ago, and I loved it. The beadboard started to chip, so I called bc we paid for the extra warrnty, and they no longer carry our model, so they said they will just replace the entire set. My only issue now is that I painted and purchased decor to match the set we have now... So idunno what'll happen?? Oh well...I'm just sad now bc I was psyched to make dinner, maybe bd and get a bfp in 2 weeks... now I have to walk on eggshells till I O, hoping that it's b4 Monday when he leaves again.....

Melissa, I hope that this works out for you. I'll add you to my prayers of just getting a placement in a decent district!

Deanna, We all have those days. Try to stay positive and just know that the b/w's only going to help you on your journey. We're always here for you.

Lindy, I am feeling much better. I still have an earache and consistant ringing in my right ear. I did however, get my voice back this morning, but my throat still burns a little. I'm taking it easy for just one more day! Hopefully i'll be back up and running by tomo. (My poor yard really needs me Oh and yes, you are only suppose to take Ty. I have migraines also, and asked at my last appt about my medication. She said to def not take it unless I was 100% sure I was not pg. To just stick with Ty.

Irene - Personally, I would stay away from them at all times. They're really hard on your stomach. If possible, try not to take tylenol, either. Only use it as a last resort.

Melissa - I'm confused. If you get a job offer in another school district, won't you have the same problem that you just went through a couple months ago? Do you have to wait till your contract's up?

Lindy - I must have missed something somewhere (I haven't been in my right mind the past couple of days), but what b/w are you waiting for?

Bina - Awesome progesterone number!

Rebecca - luckily I usually only need painkillers for AF but this jetlag kicked my butt and I had a massive headache. I will try to remember to avoid them all in the future unless its dire! I find myself messing up alot in the 2WW - like using acne meds or bleach, etc. I guess I'm always torn with how much I should change my lifestyle if I don't even know if I'm pg.

Ashley - I think there's a really good chance that you will O on Monday CD14 which will be good if you can get lots of weekend BDing! IDK about your temps - I wouldn't think the external temp would affect you as much since you're temping vaginally. Hopefully you can find a new bedroom set that matches your current decor!

Irene - The way I have looked at is it this..... if while women are pregnant they avoid all kinds of things - medications, detergents, cleaners etc because they are harmful to the baby, why then keep using them when you're not pg - aren't they still the same harmful chemicals??

Lindy~ I don't think you ever need to apologize here like that. This is all how "support" works. We need to be able to talk to others who-while they may not be in the exact same shoes-understand our feelings. I am TTC#1, but don't think or wish malice for those TTC #2+. Sure sometimes I have that jealousy of "at least you have 1", but I can finally admit to myself that sometimes my feelings aren't exactly rational. As my therapist says: Rational thought and emotions are in separate parts of the brain. LOL. We are all in this together...Thank GOD! Hope you get those results back soon.

Deanna~ Sorry you are feeling down. {{hugs}}. I know we all go through the super-pessimistic feelings. Hang in there. I agree, get the b/w done. At least you'll feel more proactive that way. I'm with ya, though-I hate giving blood. I almost passed out last time!

Irene~ So the u/s was all good, right. Yay. Glad you are getting all those answers. I know what you mean about changing your lifestyle in 2ww. I often think of how many women had NO CLUE they were pg in the 2ww and did all the bad things, and everything is good. I kind of think of it like washing my car to try to make it rain, KWIM?

Mel~ good luck finding another position. Are you teaching in public schools? What are the chances/requirements for a private school position? Just curious. Glad the spotting has stopped.

Rac~ About the painkillers: I know a girl whose Dr. said to ONLY take Aleve during Fertile time. When I asked my doc about it, he gave me a blank look and said that he and his wife argue about which is better, Ibu, or Aleve(for helping pain). I think he either misunderstood my question or has no idea that they can effect fertility. The one thing I do know is that a friend in the UK says that over there, Ibu has a warning on the bottle about fertility effects. We'll see if this surgery cured or at least helped my pain, but some days my O Pains were so severe, I had no option but to stay on painkillers. So far, my normal constant right ovary pain is gone! Knock on wood.

Ashley~ Sure hope you feel better soon! What a bummer. I don't know how you do it w/ a DH who is away often. I'd lose my marbles! Plus, I'm kinda insecure, so I'd always worry who he's with while he's away.

So, DH goes for s/a today. I'm starting to get a little nervous. Trying not to worry about it at all. He's actually going to go by himself (oh, I'm so proud, such a big boy). I asked him if he was sure he didn't want me to go with him and he said "well, I USUALLY do "that deed" alone-I think I'll be OK" What a smart A**! LOL
