Thanks, Irene! I'll have to put it up when I get home! My computer might crash if I try it here

I finally called my doctor's office to get my test results. My FSH was 5.9 so thats one less thing to worry about I guess. I'm really getting nervous about the HSG. I have to remember to start taking the antibiotics on Sunday and to bring the painkillers to work with me on Monday. I haven't told my boss about it yet - I'm running out of reasons to leave early

Irene - that's a great FSH result! YAY! Just tell your boss you have a doctor's appointment - just a check up. They can't ask you why.

Rebecca - Yeah I know that he can't ask and I'm sure it won't be a problem - I've just had so many doctor's appointments in the last few months with all the b/w I've been getting that I'm cringing about having to tell him that I have to leave at 3:30 on Monday. Its weird that my FSH is exactly the same as when I had it done on CD41 a bunch of cycles ago when I was having the superlong cycles. I would think baseline FSH would be lower...

Fortunately for me, my boss knows. I felt that I should tell him with all of my appointments. Luckily, he's really cool about it.

You'd think it would be lower, but that long cycle of yours was way whacky, so that fsh number then probably contributed to the length of the cycle, kwim??

Rebecca - true. I'll just take it as a good sign for now. DH just finished doing the S/A. I feel very accomplished again since we're getting things done. I was debating telling my boss about the chemical and the testing. I just don't know how that would work since when I do get pg I wasn't planning on telling him right away. But especially if it gets to the point where I need to do IUIs or IVF I'm sure I would have to tell him.

Irene - When you do get pg, you'll have even more doctor's appointments.

Rebecca - sigh... another good point... I used to never go to the doctor so it feels so obvious to me. How do people manage to keep it a secret?

Irene - Only have to tell who you want to know and who it makes sense to tell. kwim?? As for other people in your office/work - it's none of their business... you simply have something to do that day that can't be done in the evening or on a weekend.

Irene~I've been in that same spot too. I did tell my boss. She has family members going through IF, so she understands. It's my coworkers that I worry about...although I have told some what's going on, and I'm sure it's gotten around to everyone by now. My problem is that I'm missing once every two weeks at a minimum I liked the blinkie that you made with my name. I'm going to use it in the summer (It looks Fourth of July-ish to me).

Melissa~Good luck with the interview. I don't know if it's the same by you, but around here, they usually only call references for the people they seriously want.

Well, I've still been so happy that we were able to do the iui. I'm sure next week reality will set in and I'll be nervous about the results. It wasn't bad at all. She seemed upbeat about it working, although if it doesn't, she said we could do medication and iui again next cycle. She said now we know it's possible that I o late sometimes.

JJ ~ *hugs* That made me feel good. I'm glad the IUI went okay and I've got my fingers crossed for you.

Irene/Rebecca ~ No one at my work knows about me either. I'm with you Irene in that I don't think I would want anyone to know until I'm far along in my pg.

JJ - I know what you mean about the work stuff. This week, I went in late (b/w and u/s), had a day off Tuesday then had school days (I leave around 1:00 each day for classes). I sometimes feel guilty about it. There are only a couple people at work who actually know what I am doing and not many people know that I leave early to go to school, so it's not that bad, but I feel horrible and guilty when I ask for a day off.

Irene- I love my name in black!! Thanks a bunch!! I got the peak on my fertility monitor this morning! Yeah! I think I'll probably O today. My left side is starting to feel achy too.

Mel- I meant to tell you that I also love to go to baseball games...of course for the food, but also to people watch. I just love that. Unfortunately it's not as much fun watching EVERY SINGLE GAME at home...which DH feels is necessary! I'm like...they play a gazillion games in a season, do we have to see every single one? Geez! Glad your interview went well, you deserve a nice change of scenery!

Mare- I can't see your chart for some reason? Did you take it off?

I'm in the same boat about telling people at work. Only a handful knew when I got PG the first time and then the m/c. But now, I'm thinking about just keeping it all private...even if I need to have the lap. Since summer's coming it should be a lot easier to schedule appts. and such.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm heading out for a girl's night tonight. Probably get my drink on and it will mess with my temps tomorrow. Oh well...such is life! Have a great Friday night everyone!

Default HI

Wow, busy Friday for me! I was a helper at my sisters schools Field Day! I did pretty well, although I have a new respect for you teachers out there. Two words, HARD WORK! I promise I will never complain about my job again, and when we do have a child, they will be respectful.

Ok I had to comment on the job telling people

For the last year, just one of my great friends at work has know that we have been trying, and that's it. (which ofcourse she has already got pg, and had baby Oscar who is 6mo.) I just in the last month told my boss, who is very opinonated, that we are going to start ttc. Just for my own peace. Now if/when we have to start going to multi dr appointments, she won't need to ask.

Ok we are just sitting down to dinner at 9:45! Lasgna noodle cheese rolls, rookie recipe!

good night, I'm so tired!

I wonder if it would be easier for me to tell my boss if he was a she... I don't know. As it is, I'm the only female in a very small office - me and 4 guys. Its going to be interesting because there is no precedent for this kind of thing... they had to know it was a possibility but I'm sure when I tell them their first reaction is going to be oh sh!t (hopefully not to my face though LOL!). Its things like this that kind of make me understand the whole sexual discrimination thing... even though its not fair you know that if you hire a guy you'll never have to worry about stuff like this.

Mary - that recipe sounds interesting - can you share it?

Becky - I'm glad you like your name and woohoo for a peak! I don't even start using the thing until CD10 (although it wants me to on CD9). It seems like things are starting to fall into place so hopefully I get a peak again this cycle... I hate when I get 10 Hs!
