Rebecca~No Af hasn't shown. I'm crampy today off and on though. I'm spotting light brown and sometimes its kinda pink. I haven't called the dr yet. DH wants one more month I guess....so i'll do that for him and then i'm calling the RE. Even though my gut says call now! Oh I didn't temp today. Said screw it! Oh and DH said that I can go ahead with those Maya Abdominal Massages if I want to give that a shot. I'm going to email the girl that does them to see what her opinion is. If I have endo, i'm not really sure how it could help?????
Still sitting here at work with my killer headache! I almost have to have sunglasses on to sit here at my computer!

Deanna- As far as TTC after the lap, alot of gals I know got mixed answers, but the longest any of them were told to wait was 1 cycle. So, I had my lap the week before O and I ws told no BD for 2 weeks at least. Basically, I sat out the cycle of the lap and TTC the next cycle. The only ones who are waiting longer than a cycle are the ones whose endo was so bad, the Dr couldn't get it all so they are having to do at least a 3mo stint on Lupron. But they won't know that till they get in there. I'm not sure why you are hesitant to see an RE, as they may or may not agree to lap
. I think you should trust your gut. Real sorry about your headache....bummer.Mel- eeewww, sorry bout your kitty. Capn's so funny "let me see if hydrogen peroxide is OK" LOL-duh. I grew up with a TON of animals-we used that on all of them. Sorry no call back yet. Maybe you should call them and tell them that your OTHER bountiful job offers are waiting for you to make a decision! Mare- yeah, maybe I should clarify: You answered my OPK question, I was asking because I was trying to tell Mary that she should keep doing the OPK's so if she did get wonky results, she might have more info to give to a Dr.....that is to say, maybe her annovulatory stuff could be PCOS-see, now I'm just running around scaring people. I'm not making any sense, so I'm gonna quit while I'm behind. Irene- I'm not feeling good this cycle, either. Still have fingers crossed for you, though. Aren't you starting clomid next cycle? Or am I confused? I'm half expecting AF to show tomorrow-based on my mood swings. Jeeze! Ok, ya'll are nuts about the twins!!!!! I can hardly get enough help out of DH as it! I can't imagine getting much done with a baby on BOTH hips! But, beggars can't be chooser, I wouldn't complain if we did have twins. Does anyone else have mood swings that feel hormonal when they are unmedicated and not due for AF? This cycle I'm getting moody for O, I'm totally wigged out now, *sigh*. Maybe I'm crazy, not hormonal! |

Claire - you're right - I am starting clomid next month. I was hoping there wouldn't be a next month of course but I guess I'm more likely to get my twins then
Mel - it must drive your friend crazy to be living with that kind of neglect. I would probably end up taking care of those kids myself. Cysts in her vagina?! That just made me nauseous. Last edited by Irene : 06-04-2008 at 02:07 PM. |

Irene- Well, yeah of course we don't want another cycle. I looked at your chart (finally). You got as good a chance as any at this point, right? GOSH that's what I hate about this: there's this 2 week period where it can look SO good and ya just don't know!***edit*** BTW: I really don't think I'd count on the whole triphasic thing. From my understanding, it's nice and all but I don't think it would necc mean that every PG cycle for you will be tri.
Mel- I had to read that story a couple of times before I finally figured out you meant the little girl had 15 yeast infections. That's terrible. Do the doctors think it is due to poor hygene? Cysts? WTF? Wow, I can't believe moving a family that far for a one-nighter....I mean I know it's for the kids and alll, but still! |

Claire - You are fine... sorry for not picking up on it. Lol. I'm a little slow sometimes
. I don't think you are scaring anyone... the more information you have the better. That makes me sick with regard to neglecting a child like that I'm keeping my fingers crossed about the job, Mel. Well, I start my next round of Clomid tomorrow... I'm hoping for no side effects. Last month I just got hot flashes and a mild headache, so hopefully it won't be different. |

Hi guys!
Mel - Wow and I thought I knew people that neglected their children! What's up with no call though, seriously? And poor Binx, I hope everything is ok. I forgot to put some Frontline on Blue for Memorial weekend, and I've been pulling off ticks for two weeks, oh wait I guess you could call that neglect too huh, bad dog owner me! And yay a cycle buddy, aren't you just getting so excited for our 2ww, yeah right! Claire - How neat, I have never actually seen a baby being born. And Sawyer, what a cute name! And I love the visual of all of the big people getting sappy for the tiny baby. Makes my heart melt. And you are not scaring me at all, I need to know what's going on so that I can tell the dr, so I can get some answers, and get this baby on its way! Next month I will test OPK until I get a negative, I just ran out this month, and well got a little excited. I feel like if I go buy more OPK's and preseed, then I'll probably be pg, if I don't then I just probably disappointed myself even more. I know now that I will have plenty of time to purchase everything once the B AF shows up, which I pray she doesn't! And I'm with you on the twins, DH is going to have a hard time not being the center of attention with one, two, I'd probably have to move the MIL in! Scary! Deanna - Sorry about the headache! I hope it goes away soon, and what the story on Maya Abdominal Massages? Ok well still no work at work for me. So I've had a lot of time to look at the other threads on here. I know this sounds stupid, but I wish everyone had their story on FF, like how long they tried, what they did, I see a lot of babies and pg girls, (then I stick my stomach out, LOL) and I want to know how they did it. I know everyone's different, but I want to know if anyone has a similar situation like ours that was actually able to get pg, by just knowing their cycle better. Ok I guess I'll get back to reading or something, we're heading back to the lake this weekend, probably should start on my To Do List: Which reminds me RAC, are you getting excited? Just a little more than three weeks, and your outta here! How long? Ok shut it shut it I know, sorry for the book

No call...Can you believe the nerve? And I took half a day off for that sh!t, Claire I like your idea of calling them and flaunting all my other offers
Deanna ~ From what I understand, RE appointments are booked months in advance, maybe it wouldn't hurt to make the appt now, and if you get pg, you can cancel, but if not, you won't have to wait as long, JMO Irene, Claire & Mare ~ I need to find out what the name of the problem is with little Sophia and I think it stems from the fact that she is always in a wet diaper. Her and her brother will be two on June 6th, yep, they were born 6/6/06. So it was bad enough that in Chile an unwed woman had babies but in a Catholic country for that to occur on that date...let's just say that her relatives are not very supportive. She moved here with the babies last November and a couple of days later married the father. Mary ~ Yep, 2WW wait, here we go! I'm debating whether or not to temp in the 2 WW, if I do I may stare at my chart for hours and get nothing done! Mare ~ I hope this is the month for you with the clomid! Cap'n texted me that Binx is fine and he'll live. Apparently the vet had to shave the left side of his face to drain the puss and Cap'n called him Frankencat Earlier this year, Binx got in a fight and we took him to the ER Vet in Berkeley and he had his left shoulder shaved to clean the wounds and the hair is still growing back!

Claire- that's funny how Dr.'s don't wanna give you what is rightfully yours. I thought about throwing around some legal terms with them(not that I really know any), but then I chickened out...
But my RE #2 appt is this Friday morning. I will KUP.Irene- here's the weird thing about my RE#1...when she called, she said that she recommends IVF for us....ummm I kinda thought she should try some other options first before going straight to surgery or IVF...kwim? Just seems too rushed for me. I think I feel like there's some thourougness missing...which shouldn't surprise me since she's the only Dr. in the whole practice! Mel- LOL at the Frankencat! Hi to everyone else!!!

I talked to Cap'n on the phone and he was just tramatized by having to take Binx to the vet. He said that he had to hold him down while he got his temperature checked, all his shots and the abscess drained. He joked, "I don't want Binx to associate me with bad trips to the vet." Gee, thanks, honey! Then he said, you're gonna have to take our kids to the doctor too. I don't know who's the bigger puss, Cap'n or Binx! Anyway, here is a picture of Frankencat (it's really not that bad, Cap'n was telling tall tales)

LOL! Frankenkitty.....I definately vote Capn as bigger puss...
Becky- So RE#1 didn't try clomid or anything, just IVF? Yeah, why WOULDN'T they recomend the MOST $$$ treatment? Mary- Oh I didn't see THE BIRTH ewww, I'd probably never have kids after seeing the c-section! LOL. But it was neat. Glad I did scare you with my analyzations. I'm curious to see what you temp does the next few days, could be promising...Mare- No, no, you aren't slow-I just don't make sense sometimes...ok, usuallly. Mel-OMG satan spawn!!! And this is going to sound really bad (but hey, when have ya'll ever known me to keep my mouth shut) but is it possible that where that girl is from, those are acceptable conditions? eww, nevermind, probably make more sense if the kid had NO diaper, not a wet one, huh? Poor little binx, but it really doesn't look too bad. I can't believe no call!!!! I guess it can't hurt to put more applications in. So let's see, TO DO LIST: 1. Fly to CA 2. Go with Mel to doctor, grab doctor by ears and get more tests run 3. Go to super-snobby-stuck-up-school and put boot to ass and give call-back lessons 4. What the hey, smack Capn around a little, too just for good measure. |

Melissa~Awww, poor kitty. It doesn't look that bad though, so that's the good news!
Thank you to everyone for all of your support through this. It helps. I called the doctor today and they're going to send me the lab slip for the AMH test. I can go whenever, so I think I'll probably go next week, once school is out. Then we can make some decisions. They said that it might take awhile to get the results back, since they probably will have to ship it somewhere to get tested. In the meantime, I pray that we get a miracle and I release a good egg this month that gets fertilized! |

Claire~Just a blood draw, thank God! When they were first telling me about it, they were kind of hemming and hawing, so I assumed it was going to be something more invasive. That's why I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it at first. I was getting ready to ask what exactly they do for this, when the nurse said something about "lab slip". I thought that sounded like bloodwork, so I asked to clarify it. And sure enough. I can handle a needle in my arm! I had been thinking something like a needle in my ovaries or something at first!!! I think the hesitation on their part was because of the cost ($80 some dollars, all out of pocket), but that part doesn't bother me!!! LOL

Yeah, it's not too bad, but let me tell you that tidal wave of puss last night was NASTY!
Claire ~ You crack me up! You know my friend kind of rationalized that that is how things are done in the very very very small town where SIL is from. Granted my friend has never been there but she says from what her SIL tells her that their houses have dirt floors and they all pretty much walk around barefoot. JJ ~ Did they say how long it would take for the results? I'm glad you are going to do this for piece of mind and to just know. *hugs*
