I tested again this morning with a different kind of test (my best friend had ordered them from earlypregnancytests.com I think) and it was still REALLY REALLY REALLY faint.....I mean I can hardly see it on this one....and that was with FMU....I'm confused.....the one that I tested with Saturday is darker than any of these, and I thought the earlypregnancytest.com ones were supposed to be more sensitive.....

So I don't know what to think......I don't think she got a really dark line with them until a week after she'd taken the first one and it was faintly positive. I'm tempted to get another one of the dollar store ones and make sure it wasn't a bad test that I had before.....I don't know.....

I mean you can HARDLY see the lines on these other tests.....and I wonder if my eyes are tricking me and they are really not there, and the dollar store one was wrong.............

Jen- I'm not sure what CD you are on, so take this with a grain of salt....BUT- I personally find it hard to believe that the EPT.com tests can be SO cheap and yet 100% consistant and reliable, KWIM?

I would reccomend getting more tests.

Jen-I would test again with a FR or Clearblue easy. I haven't heard good things about the internet cheapies.

Jen - when I had my chemical I used the EPT pg test on 12DPO and got a faint positive... the next day I used a FR (or maybe an Answer, I can't remember now) and it was darker... I'm not sure how much of that was the hcg going up and how much was the sensitivity of the 2 tests. I know they're expensive but maybe splurging on a FR would be the best bet for your peace of mind.

Claire - sorry about your puppy's (Sadie?) toe... I hope it doesn't end up costing a ton.

Bina - I don't blame you for temping every couple of days or so... now that I know how easy it is to keep track of my cycle, I can't imagine not knowing whats going on and just waiting for AF...

Irene- Seemed like I got my best results with the FR and Answer with my chem....not sure if that makes them good or bad .

Thanks! Yeah, I'm sure it probably will cost a ton. Normally it wouldn't even phase me, I'd just say "whatever it takes for my baby". But with things being tight right now, it's like "oh great, what's next?" I'm afraid to schedule DH for urologist b/c It'll all be out of pocket, AND I imagine they will order another s/a ($250.00). I'm just a tight wad, tho. Guess it would be worth it in the long run, right?

Claire - I know for humans they do next to nothing for a broken toe so I would hope it wouldn't be that bad for a puppy. I wonder if they can code DH's urology visit some way that it would be covered? I think its great that he's willing to go and I wouldn't give him too much time to change his mind!!!

OMG, I leave for two days and what? Our streak has started!!!!!

YAY! DOUBLE YAY! LET'S ALL BREAK DANCE!!!!

Christie - Sorry about AF, what a brat! And sorry for giving you such a hard time. I hope we all get pg next month!!!

Bina - So were you on oral or suppositories for progesterone?

Claire - You're so silly. I just did the same thing with DH about three months ago with the house cleaning. It worked for me. I hope it works for you too!

JJ - So sorry about AF. KUP, on what your next step is. We'll be thinking about you.

Mel - Geez, busy body. How was bowling?

Irene - I wish we had been on the boat all weekend. How's the wait going?

Mare - Wait you joined after me, right? And this was your first month on clomid right, or second? Maybe it's Irene's first and your second, either way I hope you hear good news on Thursday! Wow, I can't imagine how many HPT I will go through, once I even have an idea of being pg. Good work, and congrats! I hope this is it and you are the first to our streak, because seriously we needed it!

So our weekend in a nut shell, worked, rained, worked, drank, worked, eat, worked, packed, 2 1/2 hours on a super nice wakeboard boat, drive home. Looking forward to getting out of here on Thursday (early) and going to our house, that's done! And more boat time!!! I really want to wakeboard before I get pg!!!

Ok so on to my ttc issues, what's up with 4 + opks? Is that normal? I was already getting moody yesterday so I know AF will be here by Saturday or Sunday. I need more advice on when I should go test for progestrone? I don't want to wait too long and then AF show up. Steph, you menitoned getting tested for progesterone on cd21, I wonder if I should just go tomorrow? Get it over with, out of my mind.

Baby, baby stuff, baby names, baby clothes. All of it, I can't seem to get out of my head. The other night I even went as far as looking at baby cribs on craigslist. Am I losing it? Or am I just getting my hopes up, and thinking that just because I'm doing b/w and possibly getting on some sort of pills that I might get pg soon. Do you guys do this?

I'm such a dork. But I'm happy to see that the streak has unoffically started!

Chat later, my boss is gone today and tomorrow. LOL

Mary - I think you should just go in tomorrow and bring your chart with you since your doctor was the one that told you to temp. I don't know if you really Oed or not the other day but I worry since your temps are already back down to the coverline - like you said you don't want to wait too long. I've gone through bad phases where I've picked out nursery furniture and bedding and all that... unfortunatley it hasn't been a sign other than false hopes in my case It is fun but depressing at the same time!!

Mary- Irene May have a good point. Just go on CD21 (tomorrow) I think the whole idea of 7DPO is they want to check progesterone mid-LP. But if yours is gonna be too short, maybe you should just go, so you don't have to wait another cycle. You're chart doesn't look super promising (especially since you aren't using a BBT!!!) As far as 4 +OPK's.....well, I'm not sure what to tell you there. I was really freaked out that I got a + day 1DPO, but I think some people get multiples. Technically, it means that your body is still releasing LH.

Irene- DH doesn't have ins, so it's out of pocket no matter how they code it . And yeah, I'm sure Sadie will just have to have it immobilized for a while....poor little thing, when all she wants to do is run and play! She would be pretty entertaining with a cast, though-LOL....I'm terrible!

Heck I would splint it with popsicle sticks if I were you

Mary - Mel gets alot of positives too... I think the OPKs are really sensitive so if you have a strong surge I think sometimes it will turn positive at both ends of the actual LH surge... but it can also be a sign that your body geared to O, didn't and then had to gear up to O again.

Claire - I guess I was kind of thinking that my LH issues might be causing the short o so short LP?

Irene - I won't be seeing my dr, just going to give b/w? Maybe I should make an appointment?

I don't have to fast for this one do I? I guess I could just call.

Claire - You're bad, seriously you do not want to see your poor little pup in a cast!

Mary- I know multiple OPK's can be a symptom of PCOS, too. But I'm not sure if it's multiples in a month spead out of multiples bunched together.

Oh, and about your baby-obsession....I dont' really do that unless I'm in the baby section of the store (usually shopping for someone else). I'm really superstitious, tho. So I think If I look at baby stuff it'll jinx me. I know, I'm weird.

Irene- LOL, popsickle sticks!

Mary-oops, x-posts. The LH and short LP might be related, but I don't think it's a cause and effect thing. I don't know for sure...was hoping Bina might chime in a little, bc I'm not sure what causes short LP, other than low prog. Ask me a question about Endo....I'm more edjumacated on that! LOL.

No, no fasting for this one. And make an appt w/ dr for whenever the lab thinks the b/w will be back.

Hello everyone.

Well af is being a real b!tch this cycle, non-stop cramping. ugh

Bina - it's alright, we are stationed at the 32nd St Naval Station. The only reason I was looking at Lemon Grove is that they had a listing for a gorgeous house with a swimming pool and hot tub, within my price range with maintenance included in the rent. lol I know shallow.

Claire - sorry to hear about Sadie's toe. They might just give her some anti-inflammatory meds. I've been watching way too much animal planet. lol

Well time to clean out the living room to paint it.

Brandy
