Claire - My mom used to do that all the time. "It will happen, just quit worrying and talking about it." Now she knows that it's not just because I was worried about it. It's hard for her too.
Ok Last Comic Standing...

Claire - ugh! At that rate you're probably better off when your mom is fully loaded and just passes out without giving you a call and saying stupid things... I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I do think that for our parents they don't understand because back then people didn't talk about this stuff... I'll bet alot of people were dealing with IF and just never pursued it medically so no one ever knew, kwim?

Hiya goils!
Mary ~ Yay for EWCM! That always gets me excited too! Irene ~ As of right now, I'm not interested in the fish oil supplement (I don't want to encourage more bleeding IFYKWIM.) but it comes in a pill you can buy with all the other vitamins, right? Bina ~ I'm glad the appt went okay *hugs* Claire ~ Good Evening

Melissa - I don't think fish oil has anything to do with bleeding. It does nourish the blood, helps to lower 'bad' cholesterol, is fantastic for joint health etc.
Well, girls, it's almost 6:00 AM and dh hasn't even packed a sock yet. His truck is still loaded with work tools and the front seat has NO space for me! Sometimes I just want to light a fire under his @$$. He gets on my last nerve. I'm pretty much packed. Just need to get my bath/shower/cosmetics together, but can't do that till I get showered. We'll be out the door hopefully by 8:00. |

Morning
RAC - That's why I just always pack DH, I have no patience. I hope you get to leave soon! And have a great time! Bina - I'm glad your appointment went well, two months will fly by in no time. Christie - How's it go? BFP on the OPK, but ofcourse DH wasn't in the mood last night. Seriously? Whenever I turn him down, (which is never) he says that it really hurts his feelings. Not so sure why it's different when I ask for it. But since I'm being such a brat about this cycle anyways, and we're going to be in a house small enough were it won't be confortable to do it there, for all I'm concerned he can wait until Sunday for it. what a brat! Ok I have to go to the store and it's raining again here in Kansas. Can you believe I actually ran out of toilet paper!!! I haven't done that since I lived alone in my apartment. LOL Happy Friday

Good morning ladies... Yay its friday!! My temp was back up today so I was happy to see that. Just chugging along in this godawful 2ww...
Mary - yay for a positive OPK - sorry DH wasn't cooperating. I kwym about not being excited about trying until you figure out whats going on with your cycles... but at least now you're closer to when you can go in for 7DPO b/w. Rebecca - you're gone by now - I hope you have an awesome time! I hope DH got his act together - its so annoying how we sometimes have to treat them like they were children... Bina - yeah I know my mom tried for 3 years for my sister and it turned out she had endo... it was so hush hush and people just didn't get proactive with doctors like we do now. Mel - I agree with Rebecca that fish oil shouldn't increase your bleeding... here's what it says in the article I posted: Good nutritional oils from omega 3, 6, and 9's will always benefit the endocrine system and help create balance. The article was talking about how your endocrine system can get messed up by a bad diet and decreased estrogen production can lead to a thin uterine lining. Estrogen also naturally declines as you get older so its a double whammy. So in my case hopefully it would balance my endocrine system and improve the quality of my lining... which would increase my flow but I don't think it would necessarily work in the same way for you... balancing your endocrine system could actually help you sustain your lining... hence less spotting. Make sense? And yes it comes in pill form. Last edited by Irene : 06-27-2008 at 08:54 AM. |

Irene-I also wonder how BCP's effect uterine lining, etc. Because I am convinced that the 10yrs on BCP has some impact on my lining and LP issues.
Rac-you are probably gone by now, but have a great vacation!! somebody is awake..so gotta go. check in later! |

Irene - I forgot to mention, I love love your new blinkie, ttc cheerleader,
GO GIRLS, GET YOUR BFP!! RA RA RA!!!! And I'm sorry to be a couple days late on this conversation, but what about those O pains? I had some three days ago, and then yesterday after my + opk, I was getting slightly sharp pains in both sides, first right and then the left side, lasted for probably an hour. So my question is, do you have it before and then right when you O? And yes so close to the b/w next week! I just got the statement of charges on the b/w, not for me, but just a review and the cost over $800!!! I'm so so glad we have insurance, I mean you couldn't really ttc with out it. My boss is out today, going to do some work, make a nice big long to do list and off I go! And for the record, I was still at 143 this morning, no I haven't ran, no I haven't really cut back. Geez, who really wants to be chubby during the summer!!! Ok I'm rambling because I'm bored. bye bye for now.

Hello Ladies! I hope all is well. Still no word on the job. Oh well
. I found out one of my references called twice, but each time he is out of the office. My temp spiked to 99.0 this morning! I'm trying to figure out if it is accurate. I took it at the same time as usual, but I was hot last night before I went to bed. I hope I'm not getting sick. Rac - I know you have probably already left, but I have to pack for dh... if he does it, the clothes arrive wrinkled. One time he only packed one dress shoe... lol. Mary - Yeah for positive OPK!!! Last time my dh didn't want to bd, I had to pull out the big guns. I cooked dinner in a satin babydoll. I ended up having to reheat dinner . Ah.. the things we do...lol. Claire - I'm sorry about the conversation with your mother. She sounds like my MIL. Ugh. Irene - this tww does suck, doesn't it?? |

Mare - that is quite a jump but looking at your overlay your temps did something similar last cycle right around now (not quite as high though). At least one of your other references has called back so hopefully he'll call back and you can move forward. The babydoll is a good idea... probably works better than just telling DH to get it over with LOL!
Mary - Give me a B... give me a F... give me a P!! I'm just trying to be optimistic. Wow $800 is alot - thank goodness for insurance! I want to be 143.... |

Hi gals...working from home today. Hope I can get something accomplished and not hang out here-SO much to do!
Mary- Ok, seriously *smacks mary upside the head* waaaa waaaa about your 143. boo hooo. You realize I got 100 POUNDS on you? You're still a hottie and I love ya anyway. Mare- before ttc, I would have thought 99 to be a borderline fever.....now I think it's great! go figure, right? My temps are ALL over the place, so I wish I knew how much room temp can affect things. ![]() Bina- nope, the witch is no better sober. She apparently tried for 6 mo for me. Which she thought was FOREVER because she was a school teacher, so she was trying to plan her maternity for summer vaca. OF course, my Dad only had 1 testicle, so I'm not sure how much that effected things.....TMI, I know, sorry. Irene- Excatly. She's better when she's passed out. She's in for a rude awakening when she finds out she won't get to babysit for me Ok, so I pulled a Christie today with my temps (he he, j/k Christie-where u at, girl?) Puppy was crying at 4am so I temped=97.57. Got up, let her out, went back to sleep (a good deep sleep, not restless) woke up at 6am=97.97. Now normally, I would not really worry about this except for I'm RIGHT there with O day. Yesterday? Today? And +OPK last night AND this AM . I really thought after the opk last night that I would have a big temp spike this am.....dangit. |
