Hiya peeps!!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!!!

Well I finished painting my kitchen yesterday and then took the kids swimming and boy did they have fun drowning me lol I still have water in my sinuses. I would definitely be lost without my ac right now with the almost 100 degree temps. Then this morning DH calls at 4 to say hi and to let me know that he won't be able to call me anymore until they come into port in Maryland. But at least he can email me....

Right now just waiting on that old witch af to show, I've been cramping for a few days now. ugh

Bina ~ Thanks I definitely will pm you. I know what you mean about thinking the bleeding is all done and then a day or two later it starts again.

Steph ~ I'll also pm you with what I do know lol.

Hi to everyone else!!!!

BUONA FORTUNA

Brandy

Wow, that is awesome about the Locks of Love, Ladies! I've never donated...I don't seem to let my hair grow that long. Lol.

Becky -- thanks!

Mary -- I've been to the Ozarks, and that place is a vacation in itself! It is beautiful. Oh... I think I'm going to have to go get some lasagna noodles...

Well, I go to the dr tomorrow for blood work... I hope all goes well. Maybe, just maybe, I will get someone that has taken blood before...lol

Lindy - It's good to see you. Thanks for checking in. Let us know how things are going - we worry about you.

Good morning ladies. I had a weird temp drop this morning - not sure what caused it... I temped again when I got up (I temp when DH gets up at 4:30 and I'm a lazybones and get to sleep until 6:30) - that temp was 98.4 but I'm going to leave the 97.9 one since it was the right time... I guess it doesn't really matter since its not below c/l but it just annoys me that my temps won't flatten out!!!

I wasn't a lurker - I jumped right in once I found this place! I was trying on my own for a few months before I started browsing the net for help so by that point I needed you guys!

Brandy - ugh to AF!

Rebecca - yay tomorrow's the day!! Like Becky, there are really cheap pedis here in NYC because there's one on every block... alot of them even have specials on certain days where you can get a mani/pedi for $20 or $25. I think its more for french and flowers but I don't know exactly how much. I've only gotten a pedi once in my life for my wedding ... my feet are so ticklish that its unbearable for me!

Mary - yeah go in at 6DPO it won't make a huge difference. actually depending on when you ovulate you might want to go in on CD21 because they might want to try clomid instead of or along with progesterone if you ovulate late in addition to having a short LP. I would love to have a vacation spot that we could go to all the time but on the other hand I do like going to different places... I guess best of both worlds if you can afford both but thats not likely for awhile...

Becky - love the new blinkies!

Mel - I remember Stormy too... I'm going to see if I can find her chart... last time I checked it months ago she was on like 90 days with no AF. I'm sure thats part of why she left... As for Ashley, I miss her and feel really bad... I guess DH decided he wasn't ready after all

Lindy - I think its good you're getting away with some friends... I know it will be hard but try to enjoy yourself.

Bina - I think its a good thing we came here... I know I would still be obsessed but I wouldn't know that it was completely normal to be that way Sorry that the bleeding started up again... I hope its gone soon

JJ - yay for the cable guy - hope he gets your internet problems fixed. Hopefully having the bp machine at home will help you figure out if there's something that triggers it.

Mare - ooooohhhh haircut and highlights... pictures please I wonder if I could have donated last time I cut my hair - I must have cut off a foot but the only thing is that it was probably really damaged hair from all the coloring...

Claire - LOL at the farting sound... yeah its not the most attractive thing when you're putting the preseed in. I can never get all of it out either so I usually end up using one tube twice. Once I hurt myself because I tried to squeeze it a second time and it suction cupped... ouch! I guess I fall into the too stupid to breed category as well

Irene - My mother told me they need at least 10 inches, and that it can't be color treated. That knocks me out of the running! I can't go more than 6 months without breaking down and getting highlights. lol. I'll ask dh to take some pictures.

Lindy - Hang in there. We are all thinking of you.

Claire/Irene - I have a 'unique' technique with preseed... lol. I lay on the floor with my feet in the air, butt raised and 'drop it in'. I'm sure it looks hilarious, and I always go into another room so dh doesn't see me. That way it seems to reach its target, and it doesn't leak (until I stand up..LOL). I've never told dh how I do it... he'd think I was crazy. I used to sit on the toilet, but it seemed it all came out (what a waste).

Okay... I'm officially embarrased!

Morning gals. uggg, what an evening/morning! Good to be back at work, I think.

Irene- OMG LMAO about the suction thing....so you'll use it twice as in for two separate BD or it takes 2x to get it in there. It took me twice to get about 50% last night. Then DH complained that it must have desensitized him bc he was lasting so long.....ummm, sorry but WHAT is the problem with that? No complaints here!

Mare- I agree- wanna see pics. Me too with the locks of love. I'm dying to donate, but I'd have to have a serious boy-cut to get enough off. *edit-x-posts*. Just saw the preseed technique. ROFLMAO.......That seems like the best way to do it, that's for sure!

Brandy- Once again, not sure how you military wives do it. You framp for DAYS before AF? hmmm.....

Mary- I agree with rac. I day either way on the b/w won't hurt too bad. LOL about DH's tummy issues....he's kind of a big baby, huh? j/k! And WE dont' go out of town at all. I wish I had a boat/house/lake thing....

Mel- Well, I think that your tube (and possibly whatever is causing the spotting) is a WAY bigger issue than your weight. I don't mean to harp on you, because I know you have a plan for a new doc-but if you are in pain.....well, I just hope you can get moving to the new doc soon. And as far as how much pain with the endo-well, every girl is different. And the amount of pain is not correlated AT ALL to the severity of the endo. Weird stuff.
That dinner sounds YUMMY! My DH won't EVER blame his tummy issues on my cooking (even if it may be the cause) b/c he's afraid I'll quit cooking!

JJ- Oh fun, one MORE thing to test yourself on. Hope you get more normal readings

Bina- Thanks for the info. I guess it makes sense that hydration would help with the EWCM.

Lindy- HI! Hang in there!

I have no idea what a pedi costs. I hate going to the nail places (it's been about 12yrs) where they don't speak english and I'm afraid to call the upper-end places, I'm sure they are more than $30.

Ok, you girls are really cracking me up with the Xena Talk..........I'm thinking I might need to play with my siggie...........

Claire - love it!!!! My DH actually likes it when things desensitize him so he lasts longer... he was so reluctant to give up the condoms when we started TTC... I'm the one that hates them!

Edit - I just stalked you and I noticed that you didn't OPK yesterday? or did you just forget to mark it off?

Ya know, when DH is BD because it's HIS idea, he feels the same way about lasting a while. But when he's being violated in the name of procreation, he wants the wam bam. Preseed is my new best friend! I do think I could use about 1/2 tube, though. I just don't want to waste it-$$$$

Claire - oh yeah forgot to answer but I use the second half for the next days BD... the only thing that sucks is that its really hard to get it out inside me so sometimes we just put it right on DH. I don't think it works as well that way though since its supposed to change the environment inside but its better than nothing... and its a much sexier application method!!

Oh Ok, I was mainly worried b/c the package says NOT to save any unused.....They probably figure they'll sell more that way.

Mary- you thief, you-I commented back on myspace. Thanks! Isn't she cute? Can't believe I found it on photobucket.

Yeah I was wondering about that too - how can lube go bad though? Especially now that they sell it in a multi-use tube size that makes no sense... Also its not like I'm leaving it there for a week - I use it the next day or sometimes even the same day

Yeah, I kept going over it in my mind, thinking- well, I hope it won't irritate my hoo ha after being open. I'll give it a shot. Maybe they are really worried about sharing the used applicator with your friends.....ewwwww! Sorry, that was nasty. I bet if I put it in a ziploc it'll be fine....maybe in the fridge, too-wait, no strike that last part.

Bina ~ I hear that. I've said many times that this place has been my sanity and my insanity all wrapped up together.

Oh and Re: hair donation, there's Locks of Love, and also another one called Wigs for Kids. When Shyann (my goddaughter who I half raised until she was 9) was starting first grade (she skipped most of kinder after being diagnosed at the end of October, and they sent a tutor for her once a week that year then skipped her to 1st), I asked her what she needed and she said a wig. It takes quite a while to get to the top of the list with those organizations, and so I took her to a nice wig store and ordered a really good synthetic (it was like $150, for a shoulder length bob to fit a 7 year old!). The more people that donate, the faster those lists can move kids up to being a recipient...

Good morning, goils!!!

Claire ~ Love the Xena!!! Thank you for the words of encouragement. I will be e-mailing my doctor today...

Mare and Irene ~ When I donated to Locks of Love, I went to their website and they said that colored hair was okay, I don't think they wanted too damaged hair, but I know they specifically did not want gray or white hair. Makes sense if you're going to making wigs for kids.

Steph- I think that is the organization I was thinking of. I mean, a wig for a woman with cancer is cool, but for a little kid is better. I'm funny that way-screw the adults, let's do it all for the kids! If I may ask, what was your goddaughter diagnosed with?

Mel- Mornin!
