Here I lurk with not much to report so just dropping by to say hi to everyone!!!!!
Steph- I second Claire, PM or email??? EWCM hasn't really been a problem for me, but the last couple of cycles I've noticed that I've been extremely short with my family, and my cramps are getting worse than before and now the spotting...ugh I wish our bodies came with a users manual. So back to painting, and fixing the corrupt file on my desktop...ugh to the corrupt file. BUONA FORTUNA Brandy |

Brandy ~ I wasn't in SD proper, I was actually in Carlsbad, just barely north on the 101. It depends on where you need to spend your time and what you are trying to rent. But deep into SD, I do not know. I know that the closer you get to the border, THE CLOSER YOU GET TO THE BORDER. Not a bad thing, but if that's a concern for you, work on the north side. To me, the entire area was very obvious 'visually'. To me, you could tell what you were looking for by just looking around; no surprises. I do know that Craigslist.com is BIG in California, so that might help.

Steph- LOVE the blinkie
So basically stay north lol. Haven't done much with Craigslist.com but I have been looking at housing on AHRN.com. I'm trying to find something not to far from naval base san diego, so that it's not to much of a drive to and from. lol Brandy Last edited by Funinsnowisbetter : 06-25-2008 at 03:31 PM. |

Tee hee.
Brandy, isn't that naval base actually north of San Diego itself? I think I actually ran up the gate once when I was trying to find a Saturn dealer, and it was NORTH of me, from Carlsbad. There are all these little surrounding areas, like Oceanside (a lot of people rent there, it's a lower priced area, but not like a LOW area), and Encinitas, and on and on. Actually, if you want to PM me more specific info about where you will be, I'll pull up a map of the area and tell you what I know. Five major things I learned during my 7 month stay in Carlsbad: #1 Drive fast or get run over. 80 is merely a suggestion on the highway. #2 In the fall/winter, the sun sets by 5pm. Do not get stuck a mile from your car alone walking on the beach at this time. #3 Because of the sign ordinances, you cannot drive down the highway and see a sign for what you are looking for. You may end up at the entrance of a military base three months after September 11th, when you are just trying to get your oil changed and them looking like they are trying to decide whether to detain you or not, no matter how many times you tell them you were a military dependant of an Air Force officer. #4 You cannot get plain flavored anything: if it isn't sun dried tomato flavored, it's spinach flavored or SOMETHING flavored. This goes for everything from pizza to tortillas. #5 Dress in layers and use a gallon of body lotion a day. |

Irene - Exactly YEAH RIGHT!!!
Claire - Yes everythings fine, my DH is just so spoiled that if one thing doesn't go his way, it's the end of the world. Prince syndrome(sp) Mare - Any word on the J-O-B yet? I really can't believe your so called friends??? Also thinking about Rac as she gets herself all beautified for the vayca, when I went to get the facial on Friday, the lady recommended a lash tint. Only $5 so I figured what the hey. Totally so cool, now I look like I have mascara on everyday! And to someone who doesn't wear any makeup (unless it a special occasion), and hates to jack with eye makeup just because of the mess. It's perfect. I recommend to anyone with light lashes. And since I'm new here, do a lot of people get on here, chat for a couple of months and then just up and leave?

Steph- #5 sounds like here in NM.
Mary- Why? Are planning on leaving us? Never heard of a lash tint. I have dark hair so probably no help for me. I am thinking about laser hair removal in the bikini area. Only $300.00. Prince syndrome? Is that what it's called? I thought it was "I have a winkie between my legs" syndrome! LOL. |

Mary, naw, that doesn't happen too much. Either someone will post two or three times and then disappear into never-never land, or sometimes folks once they are pg or once a baby arrives go off to mommy-land, never to be heard from again, but that doesn't happen much either. I'd say most of the time, if they get past 10 posts, people stick around.
