Steph dude- Yea, I know! Could be some weird voodoo shit!

Oh... get this. A girl who used to be my neighbor referred a friend to my lab breeder. The woman went and bought a charcoal female pup. Now, two weeks later, she wants to get rid of her because.... are you ready??? She didn't know puppies were so much work and she keeps peeing and pooping on the floor! Can you believe that?? Who gets a puppy and doesn't know they're work??

Hi girls! Thanks for all of your kind words and advice. Believe me, I did consider calling back and lying about my AF start date, but since it's the clomid challenge, I really want it accurate because it's going to help the Dr. determine the best possible route for us to take next. Plus...I am a big believer that everything happens for a reason, so I wondered if maybe I'm not supposed to take the meds while I'm out of town(on a cruise) since I'll be so far away from any medical help if something were to happen. Anyway, I'm hoping AF cooperates next month and I'll be able to do it then...we'll see!

Rac- enjoy your vacation! Hope the weather improves!

JJ- <<<hugs!>>> Glad your appt. went well.

Mel- yeah for the s/a! I hope the wait is not too long, and LOL at Cap'n framing the results!

Claire- Hi! Hope you're feeling better about things.

Irene- hope you caught that eggie!!

Mare- wow! An Alaskan cruise sounds awesome!

Hi to everyone else!!

Becky- I don't blame you for wanting accurate results. HUGS

Rac- Seriously.. who doesn't know that? Wish I could take that little pup but I have my hands FULL with my two. Do you give your pups fish oil supplements?

Christie - Yes, my dogs get an Omega-3 supplement (when I remember it). I know that their food has extra omegas in it, too along with probiotics.

Dude (word of the day)...the moderator said 'shit'. ROFLMAO! I have this blinkie I've wanted to put in my siggie SO badly, but it's "colorful", and has the "F" word in it. I figured it was too much.

Where's that voodoo blinkie...

I know there's a joke in there, I just can't quite find it. LMAO, Christie! I'm sure it's not funny when it happened, but right now, it made me giggle.

Hi everyone!
Wow, how far behind am I? Jeeze! ya go to work for a day.........

Christie- I second what Mary said- you pg yet? LOL

Steph- In honor of the late george carlin, I think you should put that nasty blinkie up.....kinda goes with the 7 words you can't say on TV, right?

Becky- I wish I could have your great attitude about everything happening for a reason.

Rac- That's totally stupid about your neighbor. My mother does dog rescue and she deals with that ALL the time. Thanks for all that great info! I'm sure the weather will be great for you vacation. What do the weathermen know, anyway?

Mel- glad you're back! Hope you had fun. Just curious, did ya have a lid for that container for DH's deposit? I'm having visions of you weaving through traffic while capn is holding it up trying not to spill. Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

JJ- Glad you made it through. I love the donation idea....once again, you made me cry. You are one tough gal. Glad the yearly went well. Sorry bout the bp.

Mare- OMG, I got u/s pics too today . My DH was not nearly as supportive. He gave me that "my-wife-is-nuts-don't-make-any-sudden-moves" look. And just said "I'm sorry she's PG". grrr, men.

Irene- Oh, I think you are right about this book... I should have read it better in the bookstore. The whole premise to the book is how what we eat-and how FAT we are- influences our hormones. So basically, I'm FAT, therefore I can't get PG. So the book has a diet of whole grains fibers and organic. I just felt like "yeah, I get it already, I'm fat"........so I threw that book off a bridge.

But, between that stupid book and the "We're PG" email this AM from my cousin- I've been a wreck today. I don't have any bros or sis, so my cousins are the closest thing I have. It dawned on me that I'm the last one of the cousins to have kids.....well except for the gay one and the scitzophrenic one-they dont' count. So, after I read this I just started bawling. I couldn't help it. OMG how embarrasing, I just had to walk out of the office. I think my Dad (boss) figured it all out and luckily we didn't have to "talk" about it. This cousin already has the CUTEST 2yo. And of course, wouldn't you know, 1/2 of the people that she sent it too hit the "reply all" with their wonderful well wishes to her . Are you KIDDING me? So, everytime I open the In-box, I get a nice reminder of HOW DANG FERTILE THAT WOMAN IS. Whew, thank god you girls understand how it feels. DH and dad just don't get it.

Claire - So sorry, what's up with reply all? I even know better than that. And I am sorry that DH's don't get it. WE ARE GOING TO GET OUR BFP TOO!!! We must stay positive and be a believer like Becky. Things happen for a reason. Hang in there, and did you and DH get an a/c yet, or is the weather cooling down?

Hell's kitchen, I have to go...

Christie - Try a different form of omega-3...flax seed oil, olive oil, walnut oil..... there's a product that I bought for my dogs called Derma Caps. I got them on line at Drsfosterandsmith.com They're the same brand the vet uses, but cheaper. Look at the ingredients. May have been something with the 'fish' that didn't agree with her. It could also just be that she needs some time to adjust to it.

Rac-I hope the weather cooperates for your trip!! AND that all these dreams are premonitions.

Christie-I'll see the OB on Thursday so will ask again, but last time I saw him he said a couple of months before TTC, which I am assuming is 2 cycles. I am telling myself that it probably won't be until September, so that I don't get too impatient.

Irene-It looks like that clomid is doing its job!! I hope you get PG this first round.

JJ-I love what you did to honor DS, after my experience with the m/c I can't even begin to imagine the pain you've felt/feeling. BTW, I had to laugh at your comment about being used to getting things shoved up there, because I felt the same way after my night in the ER. I am so used to it by now that it is like getting my blood pressure checked or something, lol.

Mel-I hope Cap'n's results come back soon and are great!

Thanks, Bina!

Claire ~ LOL, yes there was a lid. Actuallly, after the deposit, Cap'n went to work and I took the sample in. What is the name of the book? When I bought TCC, I also bought a book about nutrition and TTC, I wonder if it is the same one.

Mary ~ Watching Hell's Kitchen as I type! I kind of forgot about it when AI ended but kept thinking about it...BTW, Cap'n and I just got back from the market and I bought lasagna noodles thinking of you and that recipe you mentioned using those, can you give it to me again?

Rebecca ~ Speaking of recipes, I bought two ears of corn at the market too, Thursday night it is sweet short ribs, salad and corn on the cob!!!

I love summer, because I have more opportunities to cook!

Well we are still trying. It has been almost a year so I went out and bought a fertility monitor. My only question is do I have to use it for a full month of just the 10 days?

OK, so I had this nice long post, and then the computer ate it!! I need to call my cable company again, this is getting ridiculous. Let's try this again...

Steph/Rebecca~You both cracked me up with all of your "dudes"

Steph~Your post got me to thinking, I wonder if some of my bp problems are anxiety/stress. I have a lot of that! I used to have good bp, but it started going up when I started allergy medication. So, I thought it was that. But I haven't taken allergy meds in a year and a half, and it's still high.

Rebecca~It's in the 140s/80s usually. They want it under 120/80, with more concern about the bottom number. But at the dr yesterday, the bottom number was in the 90s, which I'm sure was nerves, however, even when I'm in a relaxed place, it's still in the 80s. The sad thing is, there's someone at church who takes it once a month. I'm in line with people old enough to be my grandparents and mine is usually the worse there I'm going to look for an at-home machine today.

Becky/Claire~Thanks

Melissa~I hope those results come back soon!

Bina~I think I had to wait two cycle too, not counting the post partum bleeding. I was never so happy to see AF those months.

Sweetpea~Hi! I've never used the monitor, but hopefully someone here can help you.

Melissa - Only 2 ears of corn?? I could never do that. I'd need at least 6. My will power goes out the window when it comes to corn!!

JJ - That's not too awfully high, but, yep needs to be monitored. I hope you don't have to take any meds and can find a way to regulate it. Anxiety and stress can certainly contribute to higher bp, too.

Bina - Thanks. I'm not so sure about the premonitions, though. I hope your doctor gives you the ok to ttc....as long as you're ready. Don't rush it.
