Ashley - Where is DH? I sometimes wonder if not paying attention will help too, but then again I tried that for a year and nothing. And now that I feel ok to actually talk to other friends about it, there are some friends of mine that had to get "pshyco" about it. Can I have a pink and white one? Or for that matter pink and any color? I'll pm you my info!

Rac- 25 days? Do you recommend the BBt or does any thermometer work? I don't use a bbt, just a normal one.

Deanna - Please no spotting for you!

Carey - Yes, get ready to learn! And welcome!

Mel - Any news?

Lindy - where are you?

Ok so this morning no spike, cp still very high, and DH and I didn't BD last night. I'm getting a little concerned here, lets just say I O today, and doesn't the lp last two weeks? So that would mean I'm going to have a 31 day cycle? I know I'm probably looking way to into this. So it's like do I even O??? And can I go ahead and make a dr appointment if I don't O this month? I think it was Ashley who wants the spring baby and so do I. Maybe If I go to the dr, I could get on something and maybe make a baby already!!!

Ok I'm just frusterated and confused. I totally got a + and now still nothing? Any ideas or thoughts?

I hope we get some work in today, sitting around watching the clock move just makes my day seem to last forever.

Rebecca~Thanks! I just don't get why they're so low compared to other cycles. As long as they don't go below the coverline i'll be happy!

Man I sooo don't want to be at work today! Its raining here and I just want to go home and put my sweat pants on and lay on my couch!

Mary-you really need to use a basal body thermometer, not just a regular one, maybe that is why your temps are off??

JJ-sorry about AF

Deanna-I hope your spotting and AF stays away! Drink a cosmo for me!

Mary - I use a bbt because that's what tcoyf said to use - LOL. I think the only difference between a bbt and a regular digital is the temp ranges, but I'm not sure. and if you O today, a 31 day cycle isn't too awfully long. Just because you didn't o last cycle doesnt' mean that you won't this cycle. I think the average is up to 36 hours after the positive surge that you O, so today might be the day. Hang in there.

Deanna - I don't want to be here today, either. I have been really crabby the past couple of days. I think it's the clomid.

Mary - thanks but I had a couple of glasses of wine last night so I'm sure my temp is artificially up. It has been really flat this month though so I'm trying to look at it as a good sign. I always wanted a spring baby - my friend had her 2 in April and she said it was the best time of year for it so you would have to get pg in July. But I'll take one any time of the year now I think you might still see a thermal shift with a regular thermometer but a BBT is much more sensitive - maybe you should look into getting one since its kind of hard to figure out your chart...

Deanna - I agree with Rebecca that your temps are at a good level... it is weird how our bodies can be so different each month. I'm going to see SATC this weekend too - we're going to a late brunch first so we'll have to drink mimosas instead of cosmos

Ashley - I hope not paying attention does it for you! I don't think there's any point in being angry over it. I know that I get upset when outside circumstances prevent me from BDing at the right time though so I understand.

JJ - for your baseline u/s. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Carey - welcome!

Mel - uhoh I'd better remember to wear waterproof mascara! I cry at hallmark commercials!!

Mare - I'm curious what your doctor had to say at your appt yesterday...

Irene - Your chart does look nice! The wine would probably affect your temps if you had a lot, a couple glasses shouldn't make too much of a difference (and I think - just from personal experience - that how late you were up while drinking has an effect).

Rebecca - thanks! We just opened a bottle at home with dinner so I went to bed at my usual time. I think it actually helped me sleep too because the night before I had pretty bad insomnia. I felt pretty guilty drinking during the 2WW so I don't know if I'll do it again... If I don't have a temp drop by Saturday I'll probably test before meeting my gfs - I'll be 13DPO so either I'll get a BFP and know I can't drink or I'll know AF is on the way so bring on the mimosas!!!

Irene~Your chart looks good! I'm not to sure what a mimosas is??? If no AF by Friday morning i'll probably test since i'm supposed to be going out Friday night. I won't want to chance it. I still have these odd pains in my belly. I probably shouldn't have taken this herb yesterday thats supposed to clean your small intestines! That was very stupid on my part! I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Rebecca~I think the clomid made me moody too! I'd get really angry at people at work to the point where I wanted to cry I was getting so mad! My friend at work told me it was probably the clomid b/c i'm not normally like that. The femara hasn't caused me mood swings or anything so i'm glad. DH doesn't like the mood swings lol.

I have this urge to test tomorrow morning, but I don't want to see the negative I'll be 14DPO tomorrow and if no spotting its REALLY looking good. Last time I went this long w/o spotting I started spotting like a day or two before AF. I'm assuming I should start Friday since I o'd a day earlier than normal. Am I thinking right? My cycle should be 30 days instead of 31.....ahh who knows!!! I hate this!!!!

Deanna - mimosas are champagne and orange juice... yummy excuse to drink in the early afternoon with brunch! I think testing on friday is a good plan... for high temps and no spotting.

Good morning, goils!!!

Carey ~ Welcome!

Rebecca and Mary ~ I had two messages on my home phone yesterday. The first one was from the school that offered me the job back in February and the VP said on the message that they were going to hire internally for the position She was so nice about it, darn it, I really wanted to work there. The second message was from the principal at the school I just interviewed at. I need to call, but as I said before, I don't feel good about it. If they wanted me, they wouldn't have waited this long to call.

JJ ~ I'm sorry AF showed, that sucks let us know how the u/s goes today.

Mary & Irene ~ I want a spring baby too. Growing up, I always wanted to get married in the spring and have babies in the spring. When I was a girl, my plan was to have 3 girls, born in April, May and June and name them, April, May and June. I got married in July and my hopes were dashed for a '08 spring baby so maybe '09? But like Irene said, I've gotten to the point where I don't care when anymore, just get me a baby!

Let's see if I can catch up before the boys all get here.......

Deanna- Lookin good! Hey, I think if you overlay this cycle, you'll see your temps really aren't that low. But your right, as long as they don't go below CL. I have everything crossed for you!

Irene- Nice charts all around today. Mmmmm mimosas. But I always thought they were a great reason to drink with breakfast! Why wait till brunch? LOL

Bina- Hey preggo lady! Feel like I've been igoring you lately, just wanted to say hi.

Ashley- I'm so glad you are back TTC- nothing like a 2w break, right? LOL. So, If you just so happen to be PG, well, it is june, so you didn't break dh's plan. LOL.....I haven't looked at your chart yet.

Mary- Did you quit with the OPK's after the second +? Or did you do more after that? I agree that you should try the basal t-mometer. Just for fun, I think you should do a few more opk's. I know that sounds crazy, and Mare can help me out here, but I think for diagnostic purposes, it would be good to make sure you aren't getting multiple + opks. If you still don't have a spike in a few days, I think you should call a doc and get some tests running. Sorry, I know that isn't very optimistic, just trying to help. I have 30-31 day cycles normally, so that isn't too long, btw.

JJ- Sorry for AF. Good luck on another cycle, keep us posted.

Mel- I am SOOOO a crier! thanks for the advice. I rarely see anything in the theater, but at least I'll know to look for it on DVD.........You want me to call the school for ya?

Carey- Welcome! I second what everyone else said. You also should go to Amazon.com and pic up our "bible"- the book is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and it explains alot more about hormones and irregular things as well as helps with the temping. It also has great reference pics of CM (don't worry, you'll be well aquainted with your Cervical Mucous pretty soon.)

Thank you girls all so much for the support yesterday! {{{{{{big group hug}}}}} I love you guys! I'm really weepy yesterday and today , I guess from, well, I have no idea. But I'm totally with Irene about crying at the hallmark comercials today. But I'm SOOOOO excited! Today I get to meet my little niece!!!! My cousin is having her planned c-section today (unless that little girl did a summersalt and is no longer breech). But I'm afraid I'm going to start bawling for joy when I see her!

Claire-Hi! I read about your scare yesterday and could join in on wringing that girl's neck. Dh's Aunt was diagnosed with cancer (I think it was either ovarian or cervical) when she was PG and they told her to have an abortion and she refused. When that baby is 20yrs old now and the Aunt is healthy as can be!

Mel-I always wanted spring babies too, since I love having my b'day in March. And I always said I didn't want babies too close to Christmas, and now look at me, I will have probably have TWO Christmas babies. But I think it is good because babies definitely put your control issues in check! about the job that you really wanted.

Irene and Deanna-I will be stalking your charts and any POAS'ing over the next few days

Deanna - Yes, if your O day was different by one day, your total cycle days will be one day different as well. The lp is what usually remains constant. I have a pretty nice headache now and I'm just down right crabby. I was really snappy with dh on the phone. My friend at work asked how long I'm taking this stuff and I told her tomorrow was my last day, so she could talk to me on Thursday. lOL

Irene - I've never had a mimosa, but I love a good Kier Royale!! YUM!! Haven't had one of those in a while, though.

Melissa - I understand.... but that doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't offering to you. If they don't, then that means you just weren't meant to be there and something better for you will come along.

Mare - Was your apointment yesterday?? How did it go?

Claire, Lindy, Ashley, Carey...... hi.

Rebecca - I don't think I've ever had a kier royale but I just looked it up and it sounds good too. I also love bellinis... hmmm so many "breakfast" drinks to choose from LOL! Does the crabbiness go away as soon as you stop taking the clomid... I'm a little afraid now since DH just started a new job and he's been super crabby that if I end up crabby too we'll be at each others throats

Mel - even though they waited awhile to call I'm still hoping they'll offer it to you... maybe it took them awhile to get everyone's opinions in. That stinks about the other job - why the heck did they post it if they're hiring internally But like Rebecca said, I'm sure something else will come along if that wasn't meant to be. I managed to get married in the Spring... so we'll see if the second part comes true...

Bina - thanks for stalking! I miss you and sure wish I could join you over there I was wondering about that whether if your doctor recommended an abortion you could decline... it is your body after all!!

Claire - you just totally blew my mental image of you by saying you're a crier - you'd better be careful your gun doesn't accidentally go off while you're bawling over hallmark commercials LOL! Thats great that you get to meet your new niece today - enjoy!! I see your temp was way up today - does that make you feel better about this cycle?
