Smile June TTC

Deanna- No, I don't think it's too early for sore bbs. what was your temp today??

Mare - AF sucks. I'm really wondering if you did have something going on. That is a really long lp. I hope AF isn't too terribly bad for you.

Mary - Looks like you're going to have to seduce your dh!

Dh and I went out to dinner last night with some friends then watched the Pens get beat by the Red Wings. Hopefully, the Pens will make a come back. It would be nice to have the Cup here again. Last time it was 1991. I'm tired today and have a headache. It's that damn clomid. I also don't like what it did to my AF - two days plus some spotting, which is NOT normal for me. I'll have to ask my nurse when I call her tomorrow. Dh and I *think* we're doing another iui. I'm taking the clomid, but we both have such mixed feelings about it. It's like we want to do it, but at the same time, we don't.

Rac - Good luck with the Clomid... I'm not to fond of it either, but it worked once for me. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I'm used to heavy periods... this one isn't really bad so far. I was wondering if stress can play a role with the long lp. My stress level has been unusually high at work, and a couple times I felt like I was on the verge of having a panic attack.

I'm going to print out my chart and take it in tomorrow. I will let you know what the Dr. says. Hopefully this cycle will be 'the one'.

Good morning, goils! Happy June! I can't believe that at this time last year, Cap'n and I threw out the condoms and decided to TTC and I'm still in the same position....*sigh* Anyways...

Mare ~ Let me know how that goes with the Answer OPKs. I'm doing the same thing. I've heard differing stories on they don't work and they do work after the expiration. I'm using mine from last cycle too, it is just such a pain to buy more and I just have a defeatest and pessimist attitude at the moment that it won't happen no matter how best our efforts are.

Rebecca ~ How did you come up with the names for the doggies??? Friday at work (my other job at the scrapbook store) a woman walked in with a 4 month old golden/yellow lab mix who was being trained to be a service dog and I just melted. I would love to have 2 also! We got our cats together, why not dogs too? I mentioned to Cap'n that we can get a his and hers dogs. I want either a golden, Australian shepherd or chocolate lab and he wants a weimeraner (sp?)

No word from the school. I was so pissed about them not calling me and this defeatest attitude of mine that I called the other school the one from back in February and left a message saying that I saw their job posting and I was interested and did I need to reapply or can we set up another interview....

I was just talking to Cap'n (he made me a breakfast burrito this morning) after my g/f called to bail on me for SATC this afternoon and told him he's gotta come (I don't think he's too upset about it) and he told me that he read some article about a microchip in the vas deferens that can control the sperm output according to the remote control. I still can't tell if he's playing around with me. He said he would find the article and show it to me though. I can't help but think if it is run by a remote control, what happens if it is lost???

Melissa - They're Anishnabi (sp) Indian names. Well, Tehva isn't exactly Anishnabi, it's more like some other native american language. Anyway, Tehva Angeni means Precious Angel (which our Indian friend told us probably isn't a real word since they don't have angels, but have spirits) and Chi Animosh means Big Dog -how original, huh?? His name is true Anishnabi, though.

Well Hello June!!!
Jeepers where have the days gone??
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was great. I had a few good nights that i'm still paying for, but it's June, and we're Technically TCC again... acording to DH (b/c that 2 wk break was def needed right??) So I'm happy for that. Mom being here has kept me busy, and Auntie's party went great! I missed a few days of temping, but hopefully I can remember tomo morn. I really want things to be in line for this month. I'm doing great w/ my meds, and did start to have a few ha's, but i'm trying to stick it out. I find if I eat alot when I take them that it helps??

Oh and B4 I forget... I didn't forget about the bracelets. Life just kinda got in my way. I bought some pink bead the other day to see what I could come up w/, and I found some really cute square ones that came in all colors... so I'm kinda thinking of using those, that way, even thought we all have diff colors, they'll all still be alike, therefore representing our unity.

Rac, I hope that finding your decision to IUI again, or not, comes with ease. Just know that everything happens for a reason, so even if you deciede not too... There will be other great and excellent things in store for you, I'm sure! Also, if you do... We're always here for you. I'm praying that your decision making is peaceful, and that you're guideed in the right direction, whichever that may be! **Hugz**

Mary, GL at the Dr's tomo... def let us know what they say!

Mel, I'm sry you still didn't hear. I feel your pain. I'm waiting anxiously for a job... any job at this point. I know that will help ease DH's feelings of bringing a baby into our lives. Also, Congrats on getting rid of the condoms! It's such a great feeling.

Ashley - thank you. You don't know how your words really touched me. It isn't with ease, though. I hate to say it. We decided that we will do another, but we're both not really excited about it. It's hard to explain. After 3 years and 43 cycles, I don't really have my heart in it anymore. The disappointment month after month especially with the IUI and clomid is really hard to take. My RE told us that she doesn't consider a treatment unsucessful until 3 or 4 cycles and this will be our third. I want to do it because if it doesn't work, I won't look back in 20 years and think 'what if'.

Aww... Rac. I only wish that I could help ease the pain and hurt that you're feeling. I could only imagine how hard this is for the both of you. I'm happy that you decieded to go thru w/ the iui, and I completely understand how hard it is to think any positive thoughts for it, esp bc of what you have gone thru. I also completely understand the "what if" issue, and I think that you're making a good choice. Again, in the end, everything happens for a reason, and I only hope that you're blessed with joy in whatever it is. All I can say is that no matter what happens, you need to know that you have truley blessed each and every one of us CT members in one way or another. Your knowledge and strength for us have helped us all stand where we do right now. I think that I can speak for all when I say that we Luv Ya Rac, and we're praying for you...

Default Morning

Rac - Ashley is right, you have already influenced my life and I've known you for about three weeks. And I have a hard time with this, because I don't know how you feel or how much pain has been involved. But I do know that you are a super strong women and whatever happens, it will happen for a reason. I always pray for you.

I'm a little confused about the cp this morning, but no biggie. My temp is slowly dropping, and I'm hoping I'll see the spike here soon.

My weekend was exhausting, cleaning out my Grandmother's house. I need to go back to work just to relax a bit. Ha ha

Ok so Miss impatient here is already for my 2ww and I haven't even Oed yet.

And how much does beer really affect the temp?

Talk to ya later, skater

Good morning ladies. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was great... too short as always but nice nonetheless! This 2WW is taking soooo long!!

Mare - sorry about AF. I really don't know what to think about your superlong LP. From everything I've read stress can delay O but once you have Oed your LP is pretty set in stone. I can't help but wonder if maybe it was a chemical that never reached a high enough HCG level for a BFP?

JJ - sorry about AF also.

Mary - where the heck is O?! I hope she shows up soon.

Rebecca - ditto what Ashley and Mary said. I wish things could be easier for you.

Mel - I think its good that you called the other school. Who knows how long the first school will string you along so why should you pass up another opportunity especially since you were more excited about that one anyway.

Ashley - I'm glad DH is back on board (silly men!)

Deanna - Your temps are still up and no spotting?!?! I hope this is it for you!

Becky - boo to AF. I'm glad you're getting a 2nd opinion from another RE. KUP on how it goes!

Claire - isn't it funny how the more scientists learn, it seems like the less they know?! It was the kruger stict method and I'm really hoping that like you said it doesn't mean much of anything. My doctor wasn't super concerned... she just said that now that we know nothing is "techically" wrong with me and thats the only thing that was off for him, its something to look more into if we're still having problems much later on - she didnt' seem to think thats why we're having trouble. I see you got crosshairs! Yay!!!

Lindy - ditto on the CH!!!

Mary~Beer affects your temp some, but i'm not sure how much. I had 4 Saturday night and my temp went up about .4 than it normally is....sorry I don't have a better answer!

Irene~My temps are odd. They have never been like this. I'm not a VIP member on FF anymore and I tried to compare my chart to others. See if anyone had + with a chart like mine. Every month its something different! My bbs are sore on the outsides and have been for about a week...AF isn't due for 5 more days. I'm never sore for 2 weeks! We read into everything during the 2WW!!!! oh and "if" i'm pregnant...the baby would be due on my birthday!

I hope everyone has a good day!! I can't believe its June already!

Rac - we are here for you. I don't understand why this happens to such good people. Hang in there... I will pray that this is your month (just so happens I'm wearing white today too). When I get upset about ttc (I know I'm the problem... DH has a great swim team - so when we get a bfn I know it is because of me), DH tells me that if we are blessed with a baby we will love and appreciate the baby that much more, and we will be better parents because of it. I don't know if that helps, but it helps me.

Thanks Irene - I will ask the doctor today. I have my chart printed out and in my purse... this doc is the one that told me to chart, and she really believes in it. So, hopefully she will have some information for me.

Deanna - that would be an awesome bday present! I just checked my due date if I get a BFP this cycle and its 2/15 - if I actually Oed the day before I could have a V-day baby. Oh the torture we put ourselves through!! My VIP membership expires in 9 days... I keep signing up for the 3 month deal... I guess I should do the year subscription but I don't want to think that I might still need it... sigh...

Mare - that is great you have a doctor who believes in charting. My doctor probably wouldn't believe anything I had to say about a long LP because she doesn't put any faith in charting which sucks.

I got my CH so I am done temping. We decided it this wasn't our month then we are not "trying" for a month. Then we will go from there. I keep hearing about people who have been charting and checking and going to the dr get BFP once they throw in the towel. We aren't throwing it in yet, but just not thin
