Irene ~ $500 to fish ?!?!?! lol I guess that's not any worse than when my dh upgraded cell phones and paid $500 for the new phone just so that it would have a full keyboard!!! Sorry about the friend, can't you just smack her back to the end of the line???

Mel ~ I hope you find out what's causing all the spotting and that it's an easy fix. I think I would be a lot calmer about house hunting if I was actually in SD, at least you have gotten to walk thru some in person. lol

Claire ~ I can certainly understand about the needy crybaby customers. When I did inbound telemarketing and had to explain that I had to have their cc# before I could send the product out for the 30 day risk free trial, they'd go crazy and start screaming at me that the commercials were all lies, or if the product didn't live up to their expectations I was a lying no good so and so. Finally on my last call when the customer called complaining that the product didn't work and I tryed to ask if they had assembled it correctly and they went off on me in a terrible accent, I snapped and told them it probably would work if it wasn't being assembled by someone who couldn't even speak English let alone read it.

Claire - I don't see any reason to stop taking vitex once you've O'd. The herb acts on the pituitary to tell the other organs what to make and when. Someone, her name was Melissa but she doesn't post anymore, took vitex throughout her first trimester because of a possible progesterone deficiency. Her doctor/midwife ok'd it. Now, I don't know that I'd keep taking it during a pregnancy, but I don't think there's any harm in keeping up with it during the tww. Also, I don't know how effective it would be if you only took it for two weeks then quit for two weeks. I don't know how quickly it gets pushed through your system or how long it takes for your body/brain to utilize it.

Hi Girls...

Irene ~ Your story made me cry. I completely feel for you. I like your friend though for two important reasons A) She is compassionate and B) She waited the appropriate time to announce. Granted my friend or Cap'ns cousin don't know we're TTC but it really irks me that their announcements come straight from the RR where the HPT is still drying, KWIM? Also, you only have Friday night right? I've got to put on a smiley face the entire weekend we're in Vegas. I so don't want to go, but what can I do without being obvious??? Part of what made me mad about this recent pg was just like you said, all this work, 13 cycles for me and nada. This girl will never have to temp in her life. She probably doesn't know what an OPK is except they are located next to the HPTs in the store. Okay, I'm done, a big HUG to you.

Mary ~ If you ever check out my chart, I have all my pills checked off too.

Irene & Mary ~ I hear you on the DH spending. Every year, Cap'n enters a Fantasy Baseball league and it costs $700!!! It annoys the crap out of me and he's always booting me off the computer to check his stupid scores! This year, apparently, he is in good standing to at least win his money back and he says that if he wins the pot it will go toward a cruise next year. I almost want to say we may need that money for IF treatments if it comes down to it!

Claire ~ Sorry about AF, I'll be right there with you next week. Sally Spotting gave me the heads up last night. So what happened on the FF boards??? Tell the whole story! I tried reading over there once and it was confusing to navigate and they had these ratings, I didn't get it.

Just got a call from the HR person at my new district and she assured me that the e-mail was from the other HS in the district that I had applied to. Phew! Disaster averted!

Good morning, everyone else!

Brandy ~ Good point! That must be really hard just to look at pics of houses and not see the real deal!

Claire ~ I take Vitex up to O, per the fertility recipe that Irene has posted about before. I take it right before bed too b/ I had burping up that stank.

Bina ~ I wish I could help you, the link seems to always be there for me. Maybe FF is having a down time???

Mel- I'm so glad they cleared that up about the job. I didn't want you to know, but I was worried.
Oh about FF: Comparatively, nothing happened. FF has a rule against brand-names and a girl was trying to talk about Preseed without saying "preseed". Then another girl said "oh I love PRESEED" and I replied *gasp* I don't think you are supposed to use that word-LOL. The only other thing I can think of is the topic of convo was KY Yours & Mine. I did say: So tell me how "yours & mine" works. maybe that is what I was in trouble for. who knows. But the warning said I had been reported by someone. One time I told a girl that I didn't ever want to see her face around there (in my group) again. and that she was a rude b**ch. I didn't get in trouble for that one. And there's a little caveat to the warning that I can't talk about it to anyone. I figure they mean on FF and not here.

Oh and Mel- I think it could be in the best interest of your mental/emotional state if you could beg off of the Vegas trip. JMO. Is is too late to get rid of the tickets?

Mel - I love my friend... I so want to get to a place where I can just be happy for her but I think I need a bfp for that too true that I only have Friday night - if it was a whole weekend (especially in Vegas) I'm sure there would be some drunken crying involved. I understand you feel obligated but I agree with Claire that you might consider trying to get out of it - I just don't want to see you hurting like that. What a relief that it was the other HS!

Claire - I've never looked at the FF boards until you just said it now... I didn't even know they were there Figures you're a troublemaker over there I don't really get fishing tournaments either but really its just an excuse to get out and drink on the boat. I actually wasn't even all that upset about the money because its not like he does stuff like that all the time... I was more upset that he tried to hide it because he thought I would be upset about the money, kwim?

Bina - you have to click next through all the steps for setting up the ticker on FF... the bbcodes are on the last page.

Irene- he he he. I get into trouble everywhere! Yeah, the boards over there are mostly full of really annoying girls whom I find it hard to believe are mature enough to TTC.....course I guess maturity isnt' a pre-requisite, is it? But I have a group of endo girls over there whom I'm close with. occasionally I get bored and wander over to the general population. And apparently that is when I get in trouble. Although the one time it was because these crazy british chicks were stalking one of my endo friends.....it's a little wacky over there.

Ok girls...the tide has to be turning in our favor sometime soon! Gimme a P...gimme an O...gimme an S....just kidding, I won't spell out the whole word, but we must try and remain positive! I know it's hard, but we have to believe that some good news will come our way soon. And Rebecca is right, we are all here and going through IF for a reason. We will certainly cherish and enjoy every single moment of our pregnancies and they will mean so much more to us because of what we've been through.

Irene- sorry about your friend, but I agree with the other girls, at least she's taking your feelings into consideration...and that counts for a lot. Still a bitter pill to swallow. <<hugs>>

Mel- I agree with Claire and Irene...maybe you can play sick and get out of going to Vegas? That's what I would do. I hate to admit it, but I sometimes don't even go to baby showers anymore...it's just too hard. I know that's pretty selfish of me, but self preservation kicks in.

Claire- you are hilarious! You little troublemaker...can't take you anywhere can we?

Bina- I meant to comment on your earlier post...it would be so great if I did get a BFP this month without all the temping and charting...but I'm definitely not getting my hopes up.

Jen- <<hugs>>

Hi to everyone else!

Becky- Yeah, "positive" isn't in my vocab today. Try again tomorrow. Good lord I'm a psycho when I have PMS.

And I don't think it's selfish to not attend baby showers at all. I mean-let's face it- it's not because they want to see you, they feed you so you'll give them free stuff, right? So I send the stuff and skip the food. But self-preservation is a perfect term.

On a completely unrelated and frivilous topic: Who the heck thought that Hootie needed to be a country singer? You know, Hootie and Blowfish (Darius Rucker, I think)? They are playing him on the country stations-he went solo.

Becky - you're right that we should be more positive... the sad thing is this isn't even the IF board... it really does look like some of us should permanently crossover I will keep my that the temping break did it for you.

Claire - I'm with you - luckily it hasn't come up often but I wouldn't attend any baby showers unless I'm really close with the mom-to-be. I already know that I want to be involved in my friend's shower... luckily she has this one friend that will probably want to plan most of it and since she knows all my friend's family she will most likely host it but I want to help out. I just hope I get a BFP before that happens so its not so bittersweet... I always thought Hootie sounded country even when he was considered pop.

Irene- I sure hope you do, too. Are you going to have the 7dpo b/w again this cycle? I wasn't sure if that was a normal amount of monitoring or not.

Claire - yes when they called me to tell me my doctor had faxed my prescription to the drugstore they told me she wanted to schedule me for CD21. Hopefully thats 7DPO this time - last cycle I lucked out because CD21 was only 6DPO but it was a Sunday so I actually got in on 7DPO.
