I just called in to get another prescription for clomid... I was going to ask to speak to my doctor and see if she recommended increasing to 100mg but she's on vacation so I just asked the receptionist for the 50mg. Hopefully it will be there tomorrow evening when I go to pick it up so I can start taking it on CD3.
Bina - have you thought of temping when DH gets up? Thats what I have to do since he gets up earlier than me and even though I don't get up I do wake up and I usually end up moving over to his side where the alarm is anyway. Christie - sorry to hear about your BFF. I can see why she would want you to wait to TTC together but then again she was obviously pg before you so I'm sure she would understand if you got pg before her this time. JJ - I don't know what I'd do if we lost power! Mary - I'm pretty light on CM too... I don't know if its a huge problem but the preseed should help. DH keeps saying that I'd be in big trouble if anything ever happened to him and I had to bring the boat back... I'm sure if something bad like that were to happen I would manage and playing bumper boats would be the least of my worries!!! Claire - I think sometimes recognizing that we're being irrational can help (like Mary said)... but if you think you need to see someone, I think its an expense that could be worth it. TP wedding dress - you break into groups and each group has to design a wedding dress out of TP... then the bride chooses the winning dress. Its silly fun. |

Claire- It's hard to explain, I have deleted my post like 5 times because I don't know how to word it.. it is not so much temping as TTC being consuming and I want to be supportive of her while she is hurting and not be "obsessing" about my chart, etc.. Does that make sense?
Irene- We aren't so much TTC because of each other, just worked out that way. We would love to be pg together but it is not the reason for doing it now. She doesn't want me to wait.. she insists that i don't. I almost didn't post anything about it because it sounds so silly. But I knew yall would be stalking my chart and wondering why I wasn't temping. Ugh, ever have those times where you wish everyone could hear you talk instead of trying to type something LOL |

Christie- I guess I understand now. I thought you were saying that your BFF didn't want you to TTC right now. That is where I was confused. I certainly understand the charting being so consuming. DH is always telling me to relax and not think about it. I'm like "how can I NOT think about it when it is the FIRST thing I HAVE to think about in the AM"? LOL.
Irene- Bummer the doc is on vacay. I thought that they usually tried a couple of cycles at 50 before bumping up. Or do they use your prog #'s as a marker for dosage? Thanks for the kind words. I know the expense would be worth it. But in some ways I just want to see if recognizing my irrationality could help. I already know that in order for the therapy to work, I have to actually change my own behavior. uggg, I hate having to admit I'm crazy! Mary- Thank you. And that did help. I can usually tell when I'm about to go psycho b**ch, but I guess today it just took me by surprise. DH is pretty moody too-for a guy. So, it helps when I lay off if he's grumpy. Just talked to DH on the phone. He seemed a little less worried about the state of our relationship when I told him that I think it must be hormonal. He apologized too. Whew. Feel a little better now. |

Mel - Target didn't have them. I asked and the girl acted like they used to carry them. Maybe that's why they were on clearence.
Claire - I can't/won't even talk to DH until 30 minutes after he wakes up. Talk about a morning bear. Ok ladies, got the bbt, and b6. Now how much and when do I take them?

So here I go with the stupid AF questions again... and I know there's no such thing as TMI but this is probably getting pretty close
What would you consider filling a regular tampon in 3 hours - medium or heavy?Claire - I think she was going to keep me at 50mg for a couple of cycles but I was going to ask if we should increase it because of my lowish progesterone number... just trying to not waste time if its not doing what its supposed to, kwim? She might not have wanted to do it and besides Mare said higher doses can negatively impact your lining so I don't know if I wanted to anyway - just wanted to talk to her about it. But I'm fine with just doing 50 again since she wasn't there to talk to. And you're not crazy - we all have those days and I think it sucks more that our men can never just realize it and they tend to compound the problem - whats their excuse?!?!?! Christie - I totally read that wrong... I saw the two nots and thought it was either a typo or you were double-emphasizing it instead of realizing that two negatives equal a positive! I think its really nice that you've backed off from temping so you can be more supportive of your BFF even though she's told you not to. |

Irene, i'd say if you mean it's ready to start 'wandering off' by itself in three hours...heavy? I usually don't use anything but regulars, just more frequent changes in the first two days. They're sometimes done-for within about four hours. There's fluid capacities in the literature; I bet you could find a chart online of what's technically the difference.

Mary- Dh is usually good in the AM. But once in a while he just gets, well, pms-y! I have no idea what to tell you about your B6. I assume you know where to put the BBT and what to do with it.
Irene- I always thought that the light-med-heavy thing was prettys subjective. I concur with Steph, tho, in that I need to know what you consider "filling" I think on a med (normal) flow day for me a regular will last about 3-5hours.(before it starts leaking through or wandering out) But I usually use supers, which at my heaviest still last a good 4 hours. So, I guess I don't really have a good answer, I'm just rambling. |

Claire-there are times when I just KNOW that I am being irrational or irritable and taking it out on Dh, but yet I can't help myself. Almost like an out of body experience, lol. so we have all been there.
Irene-I would consider that medium. I have no "scientific" reason for that though, lol. I figure if it was "heavy" you would go through a regular tampon pretty quickly and need a super one. Mary-I currently take 100mg of B6, but I think you can start out at 50mg. Christie-you are being such a great friend. And I wouldn't be surprised if you got a BFP this cycle ok, this is how "obsessed" I am. I have a conference to go to in mid-August and I am already trying to calculate if I will O during that time. It's way to early to know of course, AND I'll only be gone for 2 nights! |

Steph/Claire - not quite leaking but made it to the string this AM... this past time was 4 hours and it wasn't even to the string. I only use regulars since I'm deathly afraid of TSS. I would think its medium. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really know - I guess it is really subjective!
Mary - I take 1 50mg B6 in the morning - I also take a B-50 complex at night which has another 50mg B6 and a bunch of other stuff. |
|
||||
|
Irene-do you take both of those and the PNV? Maybe I should get me some B50 too!!
Claire-I forget the details but B6 is important for fertility/cycle stuff, but specifically it is supposed to help lengthen luteal phases. And this conference is an optional one, so I guess I am not THAT bad since I still plan to go! |
|

|
Irene- I vote med flow. Really? You are deathly afraid of TSS? I never have been, that's funny. I dunno, guess that's kinda one of those smoker mentality things. I always figured that smoking was a bigger risk. Course now that I'm not a smoker, maybe I should start worrying about TSS.
Bina- Oh, don't judge your vit. intake by Irene.......she's got the atomic-neon-yellow pee |
|

LOL at all the pill popping. Yall are a mess.
Bina- Thanks, she is such a great friend to me so it is easy LOL I hope the conference doesn't interfere with BD Irene- I worried about the double nots when I posted.. I thought "someone is going to miss one" LOL I would call that medium. On my heavy day I soak through a super in like less than 2 hours Yuck. Mary- YAY for a bbt. |

Bina/Claire - LOL! It is true - The B-complex is the worst so my FMU is usually neon!! I just went to a meeting with a company that makes the pill cards for nursing homes and I was thinking they should make them for TTC because there are so many pills I take.
Here's my routine Entire cycle: PNV, B6, baby aspirin in the AM (and I'm adding the Omega-3s as soon as I get them from drugstore.com) B-50 Complex in the evening CD1 - O: EPO - 2 500mg capsules 3x a day I used to take Vitex until O but now that I'm on clomid thats out. CD5 - O: mucinex (I just started this last cycle though) O - 7DPO: bromelain - I haven't started this yet and I'm still trying to find better info on when you're supposed to start taking it to help with implantation. Bina - I've heard that its good to take a B-complex along with B6 because it helps your body absorb it better. But as long as you take it with a PNV I'm sure its fine. |

Irene-I think you should be our offiicial vitamin expert, lol. My pee gets neon yellow too if I am not drinking enough water!
I really should workout now that my work day is officially over. Especially since I have lasagna cooking in the oven. |
