Bina- 7 days is your unmedicated LP? so no progesterone this cycle? Duh, I guess if you aren't trying. Stupid question. Happy 4th!

Mel- I'm SO excited that you are making progress. I guess I haven't seen that preview yet. But even if the movie is wholly unbelievable, it's a chic with a gun flick....my FAVES! LOL!

Well, My temp is worthless today. DH and I got into the worst fight last night. So I drank. Alot. But this only proves that we only fight about money. It's the STUPIDEST thing, I swear. In hindsight, we weren't even fighting about money. Just the stress from things being tight compressed everything until it exploded. Oy! But we are much better today-having admitted that we should have just avoided each other last night instead of poking and prodding and pushing buttons.

And it's not like we are even CLOSE to broke. We're more in the quit eating out, no cruising in the car for fun kinda tight. I just get so super scared about our buisness being slow and then DH takes it personally that he can't "provide" UGG! men!. Dang economy!

OH well, hopefully we'll get to kiock back at the BBQ tonight.

Claire-I think finances are the #1 stressors in marriages! I hope you can still enjoy the 4th. My LP is usually 10 days but I am already 3dpo so only 7 days left. But who knows how long/short it will be!

Oh, duh. Of course you are a few days past O. My brain is so foggy today. Thanks for the kind words. Oh yeah, we'll have a blast today. We are going to "never neverland". The two bachelors who live about 5 mi from us have a dirt race track, a motocross track, a shooting range, a golf course and tons of toys. So we are going to take the 4 wheelers. It's all very redneck/hick mind you, so don't picture a putting green or anything-just a mowed field. But they are good guys. And they love me! LOL

I'm sorry about the fight, Claire. I hope all works out. This economy does suck right now. I agree with Bina ... finances always a major stress factor in marriage. It sounds like you have a fun day ahead of you. Oh... do you know what NASCAR stands for? NonAthletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks. hehe... my sister told me that. I should have more respect for it, seeing as how it keeps my little area alive. Twice a year 120K+ people come to visit here. I did have fun at the one race we went to... but then again we didn't pay for the tickets. lol.

Bina - how many cycles did they tell you to wait? When I had my m/c, my gyn told me to wait 3 cycles, but my re said I just had to wait for one AF after the m/c... to make sure everything had cleared out. I'm curious what your doctor said. I'm sure you mentioned it before, but I couldn't find it.

Mel - I'm with you... I had to use the rest of my answer opks... I couldn't just toss them, even knowing they were inaccurate. lol.

No sign of AF here... I hope I don't have a megalong LP like I did last cycle.

Happy 4th of July! Looks like it is going to rain here today... naturally. lol.

Mare- ROFLMAO...I had to run in the other room and tell DH what NASCAR stands for......he didn't laugh . He hates it when I make fun of it. DH would love to go to a race oneday. But only if we have all access pit passes or some nonsense like that.

I sure hope you don't have that godawful LP like last time, too. uggg, that will be torturously annoying.

LOL at you tightwad girls and your old pee sticks!

Claire -- Tell your DH that you have a friend that lives near the 'Worlds Fastest Half Mile.' lol. The fall night race is always sold out, and people will pay $200+ for tickets (they call it 'the toughest ticket in nascar'). The reason is because it is a small track, and there are usually a lot of wrecks. haha - We went to the spring race - and got our tickets through a friend of a friend.

Claire-sounds like a blast! We are just having a few friends over to BBQ and then hopefully find some fireworks to watch.

Mare-I think after a natural m/c you can try right away, but with a D&C I was told to wait 2 cycles, because the lining needs time to heal. 2 is good with me, 3 would be way too long!

Good morning, goils!

It's official. How dare I stray from my tried and true brand? The 20 pack of Answer OPKs is all I need! These stupid other brands are still not giving me a + and now I'm freaking out that I missed O! I mean my temp went up this morning...erg.

Have fun today, ladies! This morning, Cap'n and I are cleaning the rest of the house, I'm making a fruit salad and patriotic cupcakes and then we are going to Cap'ns aunt's house for a pool party. Meanwhile, my MIL and aunt-in-law are coming to our house - hence the clean house. Luckily, I've been working on a room a day, so all we have left to clean are the two guest bathrooms, the coffee table and some sweeping (which I did earlier this week - but with Tabitha...there are tumbleweeds of her hair within hours of sweeping!).

Mel - That is really interesting about the Answer brand. Your chart looks good...If you did O yesterday, you would have bd the day before O.

I saw a commercial for Overstock.com, and it cracked me up... they were talking about 'the big O'. hee hee

Bina - Thanks for telling me... I am really learning so much about ttc. You don't have too much longer to wait. I will pray that you get a sticky bfp soon after you start ttc again.

Well, it looks like the rain held off... sun is out. I think I'll see if my parents want to head to the lake. Dh has to work until 9 tonight

Mare ~ LOL, when I see those commericals I tend to think they are either talking about orgasm or Oprah. Hmmmm....

OMG. Last night Cap'n and I got some BDing in and 13 minutes later, MIL and AIL arrived! I had an awful night last night after BDing. I think I have a pinched nerve in my back and every time I moved I had excruciating pain. I ended up getting up at 5 a.m. to give Binx some water (from the shower tap b/ the spoiled kitty won't drink from a water bowl) and I took some Tylenol. When going back to bed, I turned off my alarm and didn't temp until 7:50. So in a nutshell, O has come and gone due to yesterday's temp and I want to run over my remaining OPK sticks with my car. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Mel -- Me too.. I always think of Orgasm. lol. I hope your back is okay.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We got a pretty bad storm here, but dh and I sat out on the porch later and listened to fireworks being set off. There is a show (at the track... Claire.. lol) tonight. I think we may head over there.

I hope everyone has a good Sat!

Thanks, Christie and Mare! Cap'ns is not convinced I O'd yet , hopefully, I can temp tomorrow w/o distractions and that will tell me definitively. My back is still pretty bad, I've been popping Tylenol like it is candy. I think if by Monday, the pain has not subsided, I will call a chiropractor. I've never been to one and honestly and am quite scared. I think that they will snap my neck!

Good morning everyone.

Nothing much to report here, although when I added my temp to FF, I noticed my body is trying to write my name in temps... LOL.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday!

Mare-I noticed that your LP was 20 days last month, is that the norm for you? It seems awfully long.

Mel-Looks like you O'd the day before that first temp rise (I forgot the day of the week already, Thursday maybe?) but you got your BD on at the right time, yay! I used the 20pack box of Answer the first month I ever TTC'd and never got a positive, or even close, which is why I hate anything but the digitals now. Don't be nervous about going to a chiropractor, I used to go to one and actually found it very relaxing!

Not much going on here, Had friends over for a 4th July BBQ, and are just relaxing and catching up with errands the rest of the weekend. I went to Ross yesterday and scored some cute new tops and a couple of pairs of pants/capris for super cheap. I love that store!

Angelbaby-where are you? did you test again after that first BFP?
