Mommy2boys-I decided to see if First Response really WAS accurate and I tested 4 days before my missed period. I got a positive. I have since tested two more times and the positive just gets darker and darker. I just put in the first day of my missed period on my ticker and that is how far along it says I am! I hope that helped you.

Crystal, when I got my first BFP it was at 9 dpo (4 days before period) and it was with a CVS brand two lines. The next morning I got a + on first response, but it was really super light. My FRER didn't get dark until I had actually missed my period.

Hey, Jenna. Still here...just busy working. I actually have this weekend off b/c my 6yo niece is coming to stay with us this weekend. She is my only niece (on my side), so I spoil her rotten. For x-mas I got her a Hello Kitty overnight bag stuffed with slumber party essentials and made her a girl's weekend invitation for this weekend. I am excited! We have a lot planned for our two and a half days together!

Friday I pick her up and we go to lunch and then head to my house to take some photos of her for a layout I am doing at work. Friday night we are using her Rachael Ray for Kids Cookbook to cook DH dinner. We will probably make him a fancy menu with my scrapbook supplies. After dinner it is movies and popcorn and hide-and-go-seek with my puppy, Annabelle.

Saturday morning we are walking Annabelle to Starbucks with DH and having breakfast. At 11 we are going to the Italian Club for LaBefana (epiphany) stories and snacks. That afternoon we are taking Annabelle on a trail walk and taking some cool photos (I'll let Rachel take whatever photos she wants). Saturday night we are going to Dave&Buster's so DH can watch football while the girls play all the games.

Sunday it is church and then home. Should be a crazy weekend and I won't be able to check in.

Hi everyone! I finally scheduled my first appointment. It is on Feb. 12th. I'm super excited and super nervous. I always get so nervous when I go into dr's offices/hospitals. I think it comes from spending so much time in them in my early teens with my dad before be passed away from cancer.

Anyway...

Jo-You are SO the best aunt EVER! I thought I was a good aunt-You just BLEW me out of the water! I aspire to be more like you one day! I can't beleive how much fun you are going to have! You'll have to tell us all about it when the weekend is over. Oh, and I'm SO happy for you to have a weekend off! I know how it is working retail! I've worked at Mervyn's for 6 YEARS! Luckily I'm in the office--I mostly just play with the money and gift wrap and help people with their accounts, but still--retail is retail. It's no fun. I have a full time job at a credit union. Fun times!

Jo~ I just went to Dave & Buster's in Milpitas, CA. for the first time for DH's christmas party. His work make video games. You seem like a really fun auntie.

Regina- I am a big kid myself. That's why I enjoyed teaching kids! Rachel has been my little twin since birth. Whenever we went shopping I would always make sure and buy us matching sunglasses, necklaces, etc. We were twinsies!! Now that her brother Kyle is in the mix, I don't want her to feel like she's second fiddle, so DH and I invite her over periodically for a weekend visit. We always do fun stuff.

Last summer we went to the Magic Time Machine (a restaurant that has costumed characters as waitstaff) and we had Cinderella as our waitress. Rachel was beside herself. She brought two tiaras, one for me and one for her. DH was even a good sport and wore it for a while. That made for a cute scrapbook page!! The next day we spent swimming in the pool and sunning ourselves. Before she went home I developed the pictures and put together a mini-album of our weekend together. She has it on display in her room.

Wow Jo~ Rachel is going to have some really great childhood memories of you as an auntie and especially that she can look back and reflect on. I used to spoil my neice too, but nothing like you have done with your neice, Plus she lived 5 hours away. You're a really great auntie, and mommy to Annabelle

Regina-It's ok. Everyonce in awhile it still hurts, but it's been 12 years now. I mostly just miss him.

Jo-I can't beleive how awesome you are! And I saw your pics of Annabelle on the ttc 6 month forum. She is SO CUTE! I have two BIG FURRY puppies. They are alaskan malamutes. I have two girls. Luna and Aurora (we call her Roree.) I love them to PEICES! For now they're my "babies." I think I'll always think of them that way, though.

UUGGHHH!! It just took me and hour and a half to clean the bathroom! Yuck! I hate that part of cleaning! *sigh* Now I'm off to the kitchen to clean it DH needs to get him bum home and help me!
