Default I need some opinions!

well, since I am new to ttc I figured there is no one better to ask this question to then you girls! This was the first month my dh and I really really tried. I did OPK's (the all said neg. but I was only testing once a day now I know better) but we did a lot of bding. And since last saturday I have been super quizey. I even threw up on Monday night. Just about every day I've had a really upset stomach and not to give tmi but super gassie and constipated too. but Im affraid Im over annalyzing everything bc I just want to be pg so badly. So I tested Sun Mon Tue and today (wed) and they all have been BFN. But I know Im testing early. I just dont know how early Im testing. My cycles have been super irregular. Last month it was 25 days, the month before that 20 and the month before that 29, and before that I had just gotten off bc. So I wanted to ask you experts on how early can you really test before you get a correct answer, should those BFN really be right, or is there a better chance they just cant tell yet b/c its its just too soon, and for me how early is too early?? I havent started temping yet so I cant tell by that either. Im just going crazy, and I dont know when to expect AF so I dont know when really I should be testing, and waiting is really really really getting to me! So what do you girls think? When SHOULD I be testing, and how accurate do you think those BFN are???

First of all you are going to make yourself crazy....so here is another present....

Since you aren't charting you are really just throwing darts in the dark.

I've seen BFP's as early as 8dpo and I've seen them as late at 16 dpo...but I think realistically 10dpo is probably the earliest.

I really think you need to stop testing if your longest cycle has been 29 days wait until day 30 to end.

As far as symptoms those will make you nuts too. Preggo symptoms are very similar to AF symptoms so you can go by that either.

So I send you some patient dust.......When was your first cycle day this month?

Besty, thank you so much! I know Im going crazy, and Im driving DH crazy too!
My first day of this cycle was the 9th. So Im on day 23 tomorrow. The box says they are as accurate as 75 % this early, but only if you get a BFP. So Im wonder how accurate it is now that Im getting BFN. Its so hard not to test. I just want to know if all this nausea is b/c of pg or something else. It just seems werid to get a stomach flu around the same time we would have concieved. but again, i think Im over analyzing!!! urg

Pam Day 23 is super early even without knowing when you O'd. There are some women on here who O as late as day 20. I O early day 12.

Keep this in mind ....once you ovulate and if the egg did fertilize it takes 7 to 10 days to implant. It is AFTER that point that your body will start producing the HCG which is detected in HPT.

So yes it's early and you have at least a week to wait.

And as far as nasuea you can look at different girls charts here and on the bottom you can see their symptoms. I commonly have nasuea in the 2ww.

And I can think of one person who had a stomach flu right when AF was due...I don't say any of this to discourage you...but just to remind you of how powerful the mind is.

again, thank you so much. Thats exactly what I needed to hear. All my gfs are too excited and want me to test and I want to test too, but I want a BFP so I think thats weighing my judgement. I feel like a dumb teenager! I didnt realize it takes that long to implant! So I guess waiting is what I'll be doing! again thanks so much! I hope you have a fun summer off! Im still sending baby dust your way though!

wanting ~ Betsy gave you some great advice. Looking back on ALL the months (year) I spent TTC, I overanalyzed WAY too much. But hey, in the beginning it is kind of fun, it's when you become a veteran ( ) that you get so upset at yourself for overanalyzing month after month. As much as we try not to, it happens when you want something so much. So, I just want you to know it is crazy, but normal. My advice is to take in every moment of ttc, the ups and the downs. One day, you will tell your son/daughter about how badly s/he was wanted and how crazy you became, but how special it all really is. Okay, I'm starting to ramble and get emotional, I'll stop now!

But, here is a funny BIG blinkie!

Kayla,
Thanks hun! Thats such a good point. I have a coworker who is prego and she's kept a journal the whole way. So that she can give it to her daughter and show her just how much the pregnancy meant to her. I just didnt think I could over analyz this much you know? I guess its just par for the course. I just wish it wasnt such a damn rollarcoaster! I guess will see in the next few days.
