Okay - well technically it was only half. Cause of the crying & it was really gross I felt really nauseous and I almost vomited. So I stopped.

Betsy-- I completely understand your personality characteristics! I too feel the need to analyze and diagnose and always assume the worst. DH says I am a pessimist, but in my viewpoint I just like to be prepared for anything that comes my way.
Why are you assuming the results are so bad? What were the stats that you are worried about? Remember that a lot of the time male fertility is a factor, but the good news about that is the remedies are fairly straight forward.
My aunt's husband has low motility and a few other things, and she has gotten pregnant three times by him (twice were multiples!) The third time they finally had to get an IUI, but she got pregnant on the first try using it.

There is hope, sweetie!! Don't give up just yet. And don't go picking up a nasty habit by smoking again! It'd be horrible for you to become addicted and then get pregnant! (Okay, I'm done scolding you. )

Mere- I really, really want you staying on your doctor's butt until he does something for you. It has been too long for them to just push you aside.

(I'm so proud because I finally learned to post blinkies!)

Hi Ladies!

We just got in. I haven't read any of the posts yet. I have to catch up on my Soaps and Big Brother

I was seriously going through internet withdrawl.

We had sooo much fun. I lost a bunch of money on the slots but we had a ball anyway.

So my PCP called me back (still waiting for my OB/GYN to call me) Anyway. He says. Volume is low, poor motility, low survival, morphology not good overall abnormal. Go see an Endroconogist(?) gave me two #'s.

nothing I didn't already know. Let's see what genius thing by OB/GYN tells me.

The part that sucks is DH does not have insurance.

DH calls me and knew right away something was wrong. I told him I got the results and his response was. "i'm sterile right?" And I said no it's actually not that bad. LIAR!!!!!!!!!!

I have an hour drive home, to complete my breakdown and put my positive face on for him.

Betsy - Even though the result isn't that good, the upside to this is men have a lot more options then we do when it comes to fertility. This is something that can be fixed, despite that this may be a blow to to ego. Women are born with the eggs they'll ever have throughout their life, while men continue to make sperm daily by the millions. I know right now things don't seem so good, but trust us when we say that there are herbal supplements and vitamins your DH can take to improve his sperm. You still have lots of chances. *Hugs*

Kia - Welcome home.

Betsy - you know any of us would have done the same. We all are kind of forced to be our own advocate so often, I am sure any of us would have looked at the results and hoped for the best. I sure hope your doctor is able to help you understand them soon so your fears can be put at rest.

Mere- I am about ready to call the clinic for you and give a piece of my mind. There has to be some reason why you are bleeding for so long, and I can't imagine why they haven't helped you out yet. Are you feeling pain or weakness at all? I hope you are feeling okay at least!

Melissa - Thanks. That made me laugh. I never heard from them today, so I may take you up on that offer tomorrow!

As for pain, I'm getting some sharp pains but nothing bad. I did tell my Dr about that, so he does know.

Mere~I would keep calling them every couple of hours tomorrow until someone calls you back. This is ridiculous. I'm tired of drs. not calling back in a timely manner. I know they are busy but they have patients waiting on their calls!!

Tammi - I agree. I must have called both of my doctors 10 times today.

Meredith- You should even call their night service. or better yet just show up when they open and "pretend" you had an appointment and let them think they messed something up.

Mere & Betsy:

I am so sorry for everything you two are going through.

I am just now reading the posts from the past few days.

Mere: OMG I can't believe you are still bleeding. Are you feeling faint or anything? I have used BCP to stop bleeding before. But I guess you have already been down the med route to stop the bleeding. I really hope you get in today and get some answers. Let us know ASAP.

Betsy:
{{{BIG BIG HUGS!!!!!}}}
I understand your devastation. I say get it all out. Cry scream kick do it all. Then regroup pull it together and go into full steam ahead Plan B.
I'll be thinking about you.

Good morning! My Dr opens at 8 and I'm going to give him until 9 as a good faith gesture, then call again.

I'm hoping he just tries more meds. Some of you have mentioned having D&Cs to stop bleeding, and I really hope I don't have to do that!

Meredith - I really hope that they do the right thing by setting some time aside for you and calling you. I wish they'd understand that this is painful and torture for you. I understand they get busy but c'mon, service needs to be delivered to those in need, too.

Kia - Welcome home I hope you had a great vacation and an even better Anniversary. I've been okay, how are you this morning? Cycle is going okay so far, just hoping for a regular one this time.
