Happy August all! Thanks for getting us started Kristy!

I'm going to call my Dr today. After denying it as long as I could I feel like I have to now. I know y'all (and Dh, and my BF, and my mom) have been saying to call for a while, but now I need to.

AF still hasn't stoped, and it's getting so heavy that it's almost black. I only have one day left of the progestin, and I need to know what he wants me to do. The clomiphene was so expensive that I don't want to take it now if it won't help me.

I hope all of you are starting August better than I am!

How many days now have you been bleeding? I'm glad you have decided to call your doctor. I know you don't want to hear anything bad, but honestly, they have to figure out what is going on with your body.
Have you ever had the never-ending cycle before? Do you think this is just due to the meds?

When you call, demand to be seen asap. Don't let them push you off for awhile.

Sarah - the bleeding started June 24. I had 2 days off at one point and 3 off at another, but that's been it. So total it's been 37 days, or 32 if you take out my little breaks.

I had one cycle that went 13 days before, and trust me, I'd trade for that about now!

I am so sorry Meredith! I hope your doctor will help you!

I did call, and left a message for the nurse. She should call me back soon and tell me what they want to do.

Mere - Seriously. Call back in an hour if you haven't heard. What's that saying? The squeaky wheel gets the oil?

I'm in my 1WW - I'm getting bored. I hate spending 1/2 the month bored with my body. I've had zero symptoms. I wish I would get some PMS symptoms so I can yell at some people and feel better. I faxed a letter to the SA clinic to fax me the report in addition to the doctor. I'll post the results when I get them so you guys can help me overanalyze it.

Oh my gosh Meredith, I am so sorry. I can't believe its gotten this long I am so glad to hear that you called your doctor though and he better fix this ASAP! This needs to stop NOW! Please update us when they call you back, I'm really worried about you.

Did he mention the last time what the next plan would be if these medications did not work?

Meredith~I agree with Betsy. If you don't hear something soon call back again & bug them until you do. This is crazy & you shouldn't have to put up with AF for this long. Let us know what the nurse says. (((((HUGS)))))

Hi guys!

The nurse called me and took a few more details than the receptionist did and now it goes to the Dr for his take on it. It's 1:35 here, if I don't hear back by 3, I'll call again.

Crisitna - I was just thinking this morning how much I've been slacking on posting...I'll try to be better.

As for what's next, I really don't know. I guess I just have to see what he says today and if he wants me to go ahead and start the clomiphene. I don't think he would if I was still having AF.

Okay can't stop crying. I know I'm still waiting for the official word from the doctor. but I just analyzed the results from the SA. And from what I can tell they are awful. I'm crushed.

Meredith - Because of how stressful things have been on you lately, I completely don't blame you for just having time to yourself to analyze and think. But I also don't want you to feel like we used to before and just try and stay on the sidelines. Yeah, this is a TTC forum but this is also a GREAT support forum, too. We're always here for you, especially me.

Betsy - I really dont think its a good idea that you're diagnosing DH's SA yourself. It could look really bad to you but in a medical doctors opinion, it's completely normal and healthy. *Hugs* One step at a time, Betsy, we'll get through this together no matter what the results are.

Betsy~ Hang in there, hon. There's things that can be done to improve the sperm. Listen to what your doctor has to say before you jump to any conclusions. I know it's difficult analysing these things on your own. Take a deep breath.

Mere~ Back in 1969, my mom had a period for 4 months straight. They put her on hormones, b/c, and finally gave her a shot of something that she doesn't know what it was, but finally the bleeding stopped. 2 days later she got punched in the stomach and the bleeding started again. The doctors were going to do a D&C on her and she stopped a few days before. She thinks she got so scared about having a D&C that she actually stopped bleeding from being so scared. I think it was more of a coincidence. Anyways, after she got PG with me, her body went to normal bleeding. Hang in there. There's hope.
