Well, last week, I got my new business cards and changed the signature line on my appraisals to re-include my middle initial and drop my maiden name altogether. Now, my professional and legal names match. I still have some of the old business cards, so I'll use those too until they're gone.

I made a copy of the first appraisal I signed last week with my married name (and no maiden name), put it in an envelope with one of my new business cards and gave it to DH.

Hopefully, my poor brain will be able to finish making that transition. I started to sign my maiden name on my paycheck this morning... I haven't done that in months.
