Lauren~ It's not that you shouldn't have posted that. We all do what we need to, to get by. I'm not downing you for you being able to laugh at it. Me on the other hand, I'm just not able to laugh at it. To me it would be like laughing at the paralyzed people.

It hits home with me and brings back a bad memory in the sense that when my grandma was alive and in her first stages of dementia, a family friend was over and made a comment like "Wow, what a trip. That's kind of neat that she didn't even have to take any drugs to get like that"! I wasn't there when it happened, but when I heard about that comment, I cried for my grandma

I do understand what the similarieites are though, and I thought that was good.
