These are fun, and I really enjoyed reading them! I will share how I met my DH.

I was 18 and started my first year at UNT (univ of North Texas) and I just moved there from a small town in West Texas. I knew no one. My one any olny friend (met her on the first day of class) was way older then me (she was 35) asked if I wanted to go out with her and some of her friends. Knowing no one, I went. Well, her boyfriend and one of his friends showed up where we were, and we all hung out. I could not stand her boyfriends friend, Joe. (my DH) He was annoying and got on my nerves. He was also married and just down for the weekend, and soon would be heading back to Lubbock. I did not think anything of it. Well, a year later, at my friends wedding, guess who was there...JOE, and he was now seperated. He still got on my nerves, and just would not shut up. he would talk about stupid things. He asked me out, I said No, and that was it. Well, on Jan 2002, I get this e mail from Joe. (my friend was kind enough to share that info with him...lol) He said that he now lived in Wichita Falls Texas, and was single and a jet engine mech blah blah blah, and left his number. At this time I was living back in my home town, and called him b/c I had nothing else to do. We hit it off...We talked for 9 hours on the phone, and I made planS to go and met him for the weekend. I came up, and things went GREAT! So great that I moved in with him a month later. (as 'roommates' and to help him out with bills and things) We became best friends, and he asked me to marry him on May of 2004, and we just put it off till I finished school. Our org wedding date was for Sat Sept 16, 2006, but we found out that we were preg on June 22, 2006, so we married on June 27, 2006. Married for 2.5 months dating for 4 years...I love this man, and he is not that annoying any more. Come to find out, he just talked a lot because he was nervous about meeting me. He knew that I was 'the one' from the min that he laid eyes on me. He also was scared because he was 15 years older than me, he did not know what I would think about that. We are still best friends, and still spend HOURS talking to eachother, it is still like the first time that we talked on the phone again. LOL!
