Daddy's Pot Roast (prep time, 10 minutes total)

1 FROZEN CHEAP pot roast in a dutch oven (pot with heavy lid)
1 can french onion soup

Put in the oven 1st thing in the morning at 220 degrees

Around lunch time, mix a few table spoons of flour with a little cold water, then add a tablespoon of 'kitchen bouquet' (for gravy, it's a little brown bottle with a yellow and red lable, you can find it anywhere).

Pour mixture into the juice in the pot.

Open a bag of pre-peeled baby carrots, dump in.
Slice an onion, dump in.
Cut a batch of celery into big pieces, dump in.

Put back in the oven, leave alone until dinner time, or when the baby stops screaming.

THis is abslutely foolproof, and you can't really overcook it because the heat is so low.
