I always get a little grief from my hubby the first few weeks of summer because as for most people, it is hard to get up knowing that your partner is getting to sleep in a nice cosy bed while you are driving through rush hour to get to work. I tell my husband to take naps when he gets home, and I take the dogs to the park or for a walk so his time is quiet. This way, I get my exercise and am able to help him out a little, but I still get to enjoy no alarm clock

I also almost always do a nice full meal in the summer, while during the school year it is a lot quicker and simpler things. This summer I taught summer school, and he actually suggested I not and just enjoy my summer. That was a pleasant surprise. I still am working, but he said I could have all the money towards a piano. Naps and food are the best way to a man's heart
