Okay, this is not a new movie, but I am recommending it b/c I recently saw and loved it! It's "Spanglish" with Adam Sandler and Tea Leoni. I really think the trailers did not portray what the film is actually about, and as a result it didn't do well at the box office. It is really a sweet story, though... so if you have not seen it yet, rent it!
I watched it once and enjoyed it so much I forced my DH to join me and watched it again. He really enjoyed it, too. So you can probably get your men to sit and enjoy it with you.
