Hubby and I met in San Diego when I used to work at a weather center with the Navy. Back then, he was on a ship and he needed to go to the weather center to get some basic training for a week. I was the first and last person he saw every day when he came in. So every day he would say good morning and good nite, and chit chat once in a while. Always with a smile. I didn't think nothing of it, except that he was nice. I didn't find him attractive or anything like that. But on the last day he wondered if he could have my number. I gave him my email instead. So right away we started emailing each other. I also told him that I wasn't looking for anything serious. I just wanted to have fun, etc. He said that it was fine since he was going through a separation. I said ok. So we started to hang out. He would do everything with me. He seemed interested in everything I wanted to do. Plus, he was a gentleman, and made me laugh so much (he still does!). I was wanting to hang out with him every day, so we did. I liked the fact that he never tried to be naughty. I think I was the naughty one

Even though I knew he was married, little by little I started to see him a different way. All of a sudden I found him attractive (when he wasn't wearing his thick bottle glasses LOL), but I was still distant. One day I went to pick him up at the ship (he had started living at the ship once they separated, and she stayed at their house). When I got there, I noticed that his wife was with him. I parked away from them, but I could still see what they were doing. After a few minutes, all of a sudden I see his wife grab his glasses, break them, scratched his face, got in the car and tried to run him over. I freaked out. I couldn't believe it. I made him file for a divorce the next day.

Anyway, to make the long story short, 2 days after his divorce was finalized, we got married. I still can't believe he divorced a Mexican to marry another one LOL And I still can't believe I stuck with this guy despite his major baggage. But I love him. I can't see myself without him. We've gone through a lot of rough times because of his ex, but we have made it through stronger than before.

I wish my story was more romantic lol
