Lisa, great idea for a thread!

DH & I were set up by his best friend & college roomate who I worked with at the time. We met for the first time right after Christmas when a group of us went out for drinks but we really didn't talk. We saw each other again at our friend's New Years Eve party. We stayed up all night just talking and getting to know each other.

DH left after New Years to go back home cause he lived about 2 1/2 hours from me. We talked on the phone for the next few weeks but cause of other stuff going on didn't have our first offical date until February. He drove up to see me every weekend & then moved here to be closer to me in March. We got engaged in December of 1995 & then married in January 1997. WOW...time flies
