DH and I met in 1993 when we worked at a movie theatre together. I was 18 and only a few months out of highschool, he was 20 and taking a break from college for financial resons. We were a very "HOT" couple. Our theme song was Janet Jackson's Anytime, Anyplace"

We were together for a year and a half. He was my great love. We broke up in June of 95. We semi-kept in touch talking about once a year ( I also stayed friends with his younger sister)

I knew he was working in NYC so when Sept. 11th happened I called his dad's house to see if he was okay because I didn't know how close his office was to the Towers. He just so happened to be home (at his Dad's) for the weekend and he got the message and called me back. We talked and went out as "friends" then he moved to California a month later(Oct. 2001). We continued to talk on the phone and email for a few months as "friends" He came back to Philly for Christmas andd we went out. Then I was his official date for New Year's Eve. So we got back together and engaged all in the same conversation. We did the long distance thing for a year then I moved out to Cali after I graduated Community College (I refused to move until I had accomplished that) we got married in Aug 2003.
