What is sad is that my 15 year old niece told me that there are a number of girls that are pregnant at her school and they did it because they think pregnancy is "cute". I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Yes, pregnancy is very beautiful but there are plenty of not-so-glamorous parts you have to deal with too. For example, nausea, vomiting, swelling, constipation, hemorrhoids, incontinence, and not to mention the "aftermath" of giving birth takes a toll on your body. I wouldn't change any of it myself but those girls just don't know what happens when you have a baby and the worry that comes with raising your child. I am not even sure that some of those girls would have enough sense to worry about their babies. A distant teen relative of mine got pregnant on purpose and she is learning that it isn't all a walk in the park like she thought. Parenthood is very rewarding and a blessing from God but you need to have an idea of the magnitude of creating and caring for a new life. I just wish that they understood how their lives will change. A baby is a joy but a great responsibility too. Okay I am sorry for rambling.
