Go Robin!

Rachel, wanna know one of my secrets? (I have those weeks where I'm afraid to weigh-in too). I don't chart weight going up. If last week I was 222, and this week I was 222.5, I would chart it as no change. That way, I don't feel bad about it going up, and get that much more satisfaction when it goes down next time, cause I know I actually lost a little extra. I also round. I round the number to the nearest whole pound. I don't know if it would work for everyone, but it works for me. It makes me much happier to see whole pounds or none at all than to see fractions of pounds. But that might come from having so much to loose...when you start at 82lbs, what's .4lbs? Your brain plays psychological games with you while weighing-in and dieting or whatever; I say, play back and whoop its butt!

And no avoiding the thread...that's why it's here! To help you kick butt, or to kick your butt when you're falling down, or to pick you up after you've fallen down. No avoiding us!!!
