Lisa- Funny thing when I was working (quit my job early March), we used to take family trips every 3mos or so....Gatlinburg, FL, Chicago, SC.....of course gas prices were cheaper then and we had double the income. DH and I are going to be in Cali for 2w at the end of this month and we are very much concered about the gas prices and trying to figure out how much around it will cost us. *sigh* Vacations are just few and far between now. I agree with Irene that a day off here and there really does help to get some time to get things done and just relax. I used to take a Friday off every now and again.... I loved 3 day weekends!
