Thanks for the welcome messages...
Lindy -- I already wish I joined sooner! I've read through the posts and I have learned quite a bit with regards to charting and conception. Also, it is nice to have a place to go where you can share your thoughts and emotions about trying to conceive. All my sisters and sister in laws have no problem having children... I mean, they get pregnant the first month of trying, and know nothing of how it happens. They look at me and ask when I'm having kids and think it is as simple as having sex one time. It is nice to come on here where everyone knows the 'process' so to speak. lol. Sorry... look at me... my first day and I'm already venting! haha.
Mary -- PCOS is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, also known as PCOD Polycystic Ovarian Disease. It is essentially where your follicles don't mature as they should, instead becoming cysts within the ovary. One treatment is Clomid (which I'm on), which basically tricks the body into producing a mature follicle. That, in turn, ruptures and you ovulate. I hope that is a good description...I haven't read about it since last year, so my memory may be a little off.
I hope everyone is having a good day!
