I wanna cry right now so badly. I was having the best day and then I get to school. Second period AP Biology, we are reviewing for their big Exam a week from Monday... okay, so the door to my room is broken. The thingamajiggy that makes the door close at the top, know what I'm talking about? Well, it broke last year, so because my room does not have AC and the heater works minimally, I have the door open when hot and closed when cold. When I leave the door open, sometimes I don't put the kickstand down and the door kind of flaps around softly in the wind. Last week, during second period, a student walked by and slammed my door shut. So I learned my lesson and either closed the door or put the kickstand down. Well, today, again during second a student (not sure if it is the same one) took the time to stop, lean down, put up the kickstand and slam my door shut again! I was halfway to the door when he slammed it shut. I opened the door and saw two guys saunter into the physics room. I walked right after them and into the room and told the teacher to write them up. I walk back to my room and see that the metal piece that controls the door closing is hanging down from the top of the door frame, completely broken!!! I could barely contain how mad I was and it was a real struggle to finish the review. Apparently, the two boys walked out of the physics room when the teacher wrote them up and walked away from the Vice Principal when she tried to talk to them. So now there is a hunt out for them.
To make matters worse, apparently the press was here on campus today interviewing students and administration about a noose that was hung up on a tree in the front of the school and swastikas that were carved into the tree.

Sigh. Sorry to burden you with this again, I hate being the Debbie Downer of the bunch. How many days until school gets out????
