Kelli, with my girls I was almost that far by the time I got to the hospital. The pain was bad, but not anything really awful. I could still talk through it. I wasnt going to get the epidural with my first and waited until I was at a 7 and by then it had been 26 hrs, I am so glad I got it because I was able to take a short nap before pushing and I really needed the strength. I think you will be just fine and when you get your epidural you will really enjoy the day.
